Why might Sac do it?
Expiring contract. Houston and Mia might have to throw in a pick as well. Sac need to rebuild, I guess around Martin and Artest. Might as well start now.

Why migh Hou do it?
They have enough PG's to move James, and they need a PF that can score down low, if they are going to keep Yao high on the elbow on offense. Rahim can score, and is an offensive threat down there. Lucas and Francis would be plenty at the PG.

Why might Mia do it?
Let's fact it, they need a PG, and they need a replacement for Alonzo. This gets them both for an expiring contract.

Can't hold it against you. There's not much reason to pay attention to sacramento these days.

I agree with your thinking about Miami. They need to do something for a big man.

why would sacramento get rid of their most recent first rounder in hawes. i dont like him a whole lot but he's got size and youth that's enough to keep bynum in LA
