He's a bit of an enigma, isn't he? Sometimes he looks brilliant, sometimes flat out retarded.

Courtney Lee...I just can't get over it. After what happened in game two, and then that stretch tonight where he
Takes a terrible shot
Bites on several pump fakes sending Kobe to the line
Takes another terrible shot
Throws the ball to the Lakers while flying down the lane
He just murdered a huge stretch of the game and they left him in there and watched him do it. Unbelievable.
The Lakers are going to win it in 5, and the only thing I'm going to remember about this finals in 10 years is Courtney Lee.

Man how these NBA games drag with all the timeouts at the end. It´s so anticlimatic. Especially if you watched the rollercoaster Wings-Pens game before. The NHL playoffs just totally own the NBA again.

He's a rookie... and I would absolutely love to have this kid as our starting two guard. He has an incredible amount of potential and is already a very good player.

Gotta love the articles talking about whether Kobe is running out of gas after the loss last night. So he's just fine when they're winning but first loss and now he's tired.
I'm not worried about Lee. He's a rookie and will make some mistakes so I give SVG some credit for sticking with him.

The free throws are something you just can't have happen in that close of the game. I don't really know if fatigue is an issue, but it's an easy one to run with. He had a full season last year with the finals run, right into the Redeem Team, then back at it with another finals run. It has to take a toll on your body.

MJ got the same kind of criticism when he faltered too (although he rarely did...)
People always love to take a swipe at the top-dog...

It's easy to forget how maligned MJ was before he won his titles.

True, but once the league put a leash on the Bad Boys, MJ pretty much achieved demigod status in the sports world - the man could do no wrong after a certain point in his career (as a player, anyway!)

Before MJ was winning titles, his starting lineup consisted of Brad Sellers, Charles Oakley, John Paxson, and Gene Banks. This was during the era of teams that had 3-4 all star players (Lakers, Celtics, 76ers). Let's not be too short-sighted here.

Dang, Howard is having a monster night on the boards tonight. I wonder if he's going to hit 30.

Good god, Van Gundy's rotations are infuriating. How long is he gonna let Nelson stink it up out there?

Seriously. Even if I don´t think it´s a conspiracy all this favouritism and inconsistency makes it unwatchable (and the abc anouncers do their good share also). This is the reason why I stopped watching the NBA for two years after 06. And I´m ready to make the move again. I don´t understand how so many people still enjoy this product.
Also the superstar hype is unbearable. Kobe kobe kobe as if they were paid by how often they say Kobe.
And it doesn´t matter who wins the game actually. If the Magic win I still feel the same.

Hedo and Howard are monsters.
And again a total swing in how the game is called in the 4th.

Well those two bricks at the line kind of put a damper on Howard's monster night. Hopefully it doesn't end up biting the Magic in the butt.
