I wonder how the Panthers all decided together to just lie down in the second half.

I like how we are chewing up some clock here in the second half. Now let's get a TD to stick a dagger in 'em.

+1
Our D has come around now with good pressure so I think it'd be game over if we could get a TD.

We should have run it twice in a row for a TD just now...
Garrett is the highest paid spare in the league!

F'n A!! Garrett, what was that man?!?!?!?!?
Can't believe you didn't choose run it on the 2nd down, but no you do pretty much the same play twice. Choice probably would of been able to get it in.

You know, as much as I want Marty B to make it happen, he still seems kind of green to me. He hasn't exactly looked crisp out here tonight.

That's ridiculous...don't basically run the same pass play twice! And like Jaws said, those are low percentage passes, it's right on or dead.
If you're gonna do that, at least do play action on one of the downs...that was pitiful.

Tashard Choice isn't allowed to outscore Felix Jones in fantasy unless the Cowboys win (thems the rules!)

I really hate how we haven't put them away yet. Especially with how we fall into a prevent this late in the game and let teams march right down the field on us.

D-Ware that would have been a good place to get your first sack.

Gosh Barbie Carpenter is soft. I can't wait til Jason Williams gets healthy so he can banish Barbie to the bench forever.

Other than the fact that his knee is injured, not really.
Tashard Choice seemed like a luxury pick a few years ago, but how crucial has the kid been for this team given how banged up the other two get?

Didn't even hear that. After that long play, I never saw him again and never heard an explanation.
Cowboys could have put this game away a long time ago. Garrett with his playcalling tries to get too cute for his own good.

Victor Butler's coming out party? Nice to see one of these rookies actually contributing.

Seems like a pretty simple formula to me:
1) Run the ball
2) Don't take ill advised chances from Romo
3) Get some turnovers
Garrett rarely does the first one. And that is usually what causes the second one. And the third one is hard to do when you are tired and on the field a lot.

Truth...
If Arizona had our 3rd-string RB, they'd already have a ring...

It really needs to be a 3-headed monster on offense. They line is big and can dictate position, just run it down their throats. Manage the game and use Witten as a security blanket and then use Roy and Crayton for the longer plays.
I really liked Roy's blocking tonight.

The offense was on the move some in the first half.. only to be killed by Jason Garrett trying to get too cute on two separate occasions. Sometimes the guy out thinks himself. When your team is moving up and down the field like crazy on another team, it's ok to play it safe and continue to do so. You don't have to go to the Wildcat or to the play where the TE intentionally falls down and then gets back up... yada yada.. Just beat the team in front of you with what you do best when you're more than capable of doing so.

Considering how little pressure Spencer has been getting on the quarterback, I wonder if Butler can play his way into the role Greg Ellis had last season, which was to come on in pass plays while Spencer played the run. Because I think we have been missing the pass rush that Ellis brought from the other side.

Romo did what everyone wanted him to. He didn't take many chances, threw high percentage throws, fell forwards when he knew he was about to be sacked. He let the running game do their thing, and when if it sputtered, he bailed them out.
I like that he took off several times just to get positive yardage on the play, rather than lobbing a pass downfield or trying to squeeze a pass into double coverage. Romo certainly isn't Vince Young (thank God...) but he's an good athlete and he can make some plays with his feet past the line of scrimmage from time to time.
Felix is just amazingly talented, but his effectiveness depends on his ability to stay healthy. I still hold out hope that he's just been getting unlucky, because I don't hearing anything about him being injury prone coming out of college, but if not, Felix's role is going to be severely limited each game, just in the attempt to keep him healthy for a longer stretch of games.
He also needs to improve pass protection.
Does anyone think that maybe Jenkins just won the starting job last night? I'd be fine with that.
We saw a lot less of Bennett tonight, especially split out wide. I think that's for two reasons, the first being that he's been a non-factor in the passing game. The second reason, though, is because he's been such a non-factor in the passing game, he not effecting the run game either. He really needs to go out and put up a solid game soon or that TE will lose its uniqueness, and become just another mauler run formation. If Bennett can't catch passes, then it makes more sense to use John Phillips in that formation, who is a better blocker, or Cricket if he's not on the field.

The win was nice...2nd half was fun, outside of the double fade calls.
The hilight of the game...Coach Gruden slobbering over the talent on this Cowboys team...could he be the next HC?
Love em or hate em, he's had success with two teams...one of which he had to work for Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis...hmmm, seems to me that he could handle working for Jerry. By the way, I doubt anyone would make reference to "Cupcakes" when he coaches.
He's old school in that he'll put a boot in your ...., but still young enough and hip enough to relate to today's players. With Romo, he has a QB that he already likes, thus he can focus on firing up some other players who need someone who can challenge them...

Fudge. Kyle Orton is projected to get 19 points on Dallas's D next week. No respect... and I don't blame them.
