I love how our scrubs go into superstars in the only game where it doesn't matter, yet suck when are called upon in games. Seriously, EVERY jumper is going down, and EVERY drive is being finished strong.

Every player except Singleton (4-9) shot 50% or better.
Wish Roddy would have played a little better in the second half, basically forcing RC to play him, because right now I'm not sure that Carlisle feels as if he has to play him next game. He played really good early, but turned the ball over in the second half a lot (ended up with 5 TO's) and was only 1-3 from the field. I hope Carlisle still plays him, but I'm a little doubtful.

Yup. And we should hold Stern at gunpoint and force him to let us play the Knicks for all 82 games.

if you compute roddies numbers from today to 48 minutes he'd have had a quadruple double (including 10 TO :-P)

10 players with 3+ made shots and most bench boys points came from jumps shots. Yes Knicks defense was awful but everybody played with "I can make every shot" mentality, you don't see this from Mavericks everyday. I just hope Rick can now use more bench players next game against Milwaukee. When you don't give them now chance, then your plain simple stupid. Let's ride with this confidence or at least try to.
Anybody remember better Mavericks player +/- then Gooden's +41?

Let's narrow that down a bit. From the 6:30 mark in the 2nd until the 6:30 mark in the 4th, the Mavericks outscored the Knickerbockers 71-24.

Man...largest margin of victory in Mavs history--I started the GDT and only Chum reps me...this place has gotten sheisty! =P
That was a really fun game!
Some random notes from the game:
- First 6 points of the game from Gooden--he must want to stay in Dallas!
- Lots of Dirk fans at MSG. There were plenty of cheers when they announced him at the Garden...I guess MSG just likes a good show!
- Mavs fans from all around were chanting "WE WANT CAR-ROL" starting in the 1st quarter.
- Knicks fans were booing even before the start of the half.
- I moved up to the row behind the floor seats by the 3rd quarter.
- I must admit, I'm liking David Lee more and more. This guy has obviously worked very hard to get where he is. No hate here.
- Knicks fans are hilarious. Plenty of them were talking to me saying, "I'm a Knicks fan, but I'm a Mavs fan now!" (re-emphasizes that New Yorkers just want a good show)
- How dare Gallinari think he can guard Dirk...I saw Jeffries call a switch after Gallo got torched too many times in the 3rd. He did no better...
- I yelled "Crystal Taylor SUCKS!" and Dirk/Edjuardo started laughing.
- Tim Thomas still has it?
- Ttam Llaroc was unbelievable.
- Still surprised that Najera didn't get to see the court.
- GO MAVS!

Not looking good for Kidd if this is how we run our offense without him. I knew it was important to be an offensive threat at the point guard position. I miss Harris but Beaubois is showing some of those same skills. Wish Carlisle would play him more and Kidd less.

I actually wish that rc would give roddy some of jkiddos minutes but not because he's better but that jkiddo really needs less minutes. I'd stick him out there for a few minutes each half if possible to see how he's going. If he's going good, then he's pretty dang good.

At one point, we were up 53 points and Najera was still cheering on the bench. LOL

I've got no problem with that. I also think Booby showed enough today that he deserves some chances to come in for JJB and JET when they're not producing offensively and the team needs someone who can shoot from range. I don't expect him to be more than a third-stringer at this point, but I certainly think he deserves another chance as more than just a bench-warmer.

The kid is an avid Jason Kidd hater and Harris nuthugger. He really doesn't understand that there is more to basketball than scoring. Just ignore him
