No, Dallas has the best record. If by "best team in the NBA", you mean the most consistent? No, Dallas has played the most consistent of any team so far? If by "best team in the NBA", you mean the only team to beat the Mavs? Yep, and they are the only ones to do it so far. Great job Pacers. You beat the team that is playing the best ball up to this point. Not an accomplishment to be taken lightly, but you will not get any trophies from David Stern for doing so unfortunately. If by "best team is the NBA", you mean who will be having a ring ceremony next fall? We'll have to wait and see on that one, but my money is on the Mavs. I could see the Pacers playing against them in Jume, but again we'll just have to wait and see.

Dooby should change the question to
"Is Indiana the Best Team in the East?", or better yet, "Is Indiana the Best Team in the Central Division?", or better yet, "Is Indiana among the best teams in the Central Division?", or better yet, "Is Indiana in the Central Division?". BTW, I haven´t seen the Dooby´s oppinion.
