Did any of you see that between the Warriors and Blazers??

Was watching on Fox Sports Bay Area (Warriors station).

Game was tied with 14 seconds left and Rasheed Wallace hit the basket ( a prayer at the buzzer) to give them the win. It was showing him and Pippen celebrating when it cut to Wells and Mills tangled up. Not sure what happened but they started shoving and the benches cleared out.

They were contained and then Wallace and Murphy went at it some before they were contained.

Cheeks finally got Wallace to leave when fans started throwing something at Wallace and he took a swing at one of the fans.

The tunnel was jammed, reminded me of the Laker/Warrior fight.

i watched the game, i did not see a punch thrown by wallace at anyone, the announcers(warriors announcers) speculated at seeing a punch thrown. i watched it 3 times and did not see rasheed throw a punch at anyone. also, rasheed and murphy never got together, they were both contained before anything happened. bonzi threw a punch, hes the only 1 who should be suspended, maybe mills but rasheed did nothing that warrants a suspension.

Actually, I watched it too.

The worst part, when they showed a replay, was a "fan" spitting on Rasheed as he was headed out through the tunnel. I also heard the announcers say that a "fan" had dumped something on Rasheed, but it may have been the spitting...I'm not sure...but it was a very clear picture and very disgusting. The security people and the police had her pointed out...so I'm pretty sure that they caught up to her.

I didn't see Rasheed throw a punch either from the footage that was shown.

A lot of players ran onto the court and it was a huge scene...but since time had elapsed, I doubt that the others will get fined or anything like that.

Melee occurs after Wallace's shot sinks Warriors

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Rasheed Wallace's remarkable final minute was ruined by an ugly fight at the end of the Portland Trail Blazers' 113-111 win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.

Wallace scored his team's final six points, including a game-winning fadeaway jumper at the buzzer.

After racing to congratulate him, his teammates rushed to the aid of Bonzi Wells.

Wells and Golden State's Chris Mills were battling for position on the shot and were still tied up after the ball went through. As the two exchanged words and then began angrily pushing each other, the Warriors' Troy Murphy entered the fray and threw punches. Golden State coach Eric Musselman ran across the court and shoved Wells.

Ruben Patterson and Murphy then began fighting as both teams were pushing each other around and officials tried to break it up.

"We've got to make sure we don't fight,'' Patterson said. "But when three or four guys are jumping on us, we've got to support each other.''

Police officers ran up into the stands as fans started yelling, rushing the court and throwing things at the Blazers as they made their way to the locker room. One man in the crowd was handcuffed and subdued by four security officers. He threw a wad of gum at Wallace, sparking another confrontation with several Blazers.

One Portland player, who could not immediately be identified, started running into the stands and a couple others -- including Wallace -- were trying to grab the fan.

"I don't think we dislike each other,'' Golden State's Antawn Jamison said. "In a close game like that there's a lot of emotion involved. Sometimes guys go over the top.''

"Ave Maria'' played over the public address system after things calmed down and fans exited in a state of disbelief.

"We all were trying to keep the peace,'' Portland's Scottie Pippen said. "Once the game is over and when you lose you're going to be mad. That's what it boils down to.''

Wallace made two free throws with 1:14 left and a basket with 37.6 seconds remaining that tied it. He also had a key blocked shot in the final minute.

The Blazers won their season-high fourth straight and snapped Golden State's three-game home winning streak.

Gilbert Arenas and Jason Richardson scored 23 points each to lead the Warriors, but Richardson was scoreless in the second half. Jamison added 21 points.

Wells just missed having his third straight 30-point game, finishing with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists. He led six Trail Blazers in double figures.

The lead changed hands six times in the fourth quarter and was tied on five other occasions.

Murphy's baseline jumper went in and out with 15.6 seconds left, then Portland called timeout. Pippen inbounded the ball near midcourt to Derek Anderson, who passed back to Pippen. He got the ball to Wallace, who took the fadeaway shot that swished through the net. Wallace finished with 16 points, eight in the fourth quarter.

"You want to make him take that fadeaway,'' Murphy said. "It's an extremely difficult shot and he made it. It's disappointing to lose on a last-second shot after playing so hard.''

Murphy refused to discuss the fight, as did Mills and Richardson.

The Warriors equaled their highest scoring first quarter of the season with 34 points. They shot 50 percent in the period, with Richardson scoring 14. The Warriors' points total was the most the Blazers have allowed all season.

Golden State shot 53.3 percent in the first half to Portland's 52.4 percent. The Warriors went on an 8-0 run in the first quarter to go ahead by eight points, but couldn't extend the lead or hold it.

Yea the AP never gets anything right. What the hell Slo Mo? You have disagreed with everything that has been posted on this board since you joined.

By the way the 2+2=4. Go ahead and refute that.

And just so you know I don't think the NBA can suspend the AP.

Oh, my bad......

This just in.

NBA SUSPENDS AP.... HUSSEIN DELIGHTED AS NEWS REPORTS COME TO A STOP ...

CHECK REUTERS FOR DETAILS.

Troy Murphy is sounding like a little bit of a bad ass.

Lambier-lite.

Only without the talent (j/k)

Well, at least it's nice to see the Blazers passionate about something. They are a good team.

They just had the Blazers play by play guy on ESPN Radio earlier. It sounds like Chris Mills might be in more trouble than anyone. Apparently after the game he and a couple of teamates tried to get into a room where Wells was, and they had to lock the door. To make matters worse as the Blazers were boarding their bus, Mills was at the top of the ramp challenging someone to fight him, but no one took the bait even as he approached the bus. Then as the bus was turning into the lot, about 3 or 4 cars blocked its path, and lo and behold who should get out, but Mills, and some of his buddies still demanding a final settling of the score. They had to get a police escort, and Mills STILL TRIED TO FOLLOW THEM TO THE AIRPORT till another cop told him it would be in his best interest to turn around. If this is true then Mills should be looking at a 10 game suspension minimum because this smacks of premeditation. Especially having your posse get out the car with you.

how about watching the game ae, cause thats what i did. espn edited and cut stuff. they showed their angles, so dont give me that crap. how about watching the game and seeing it live, rather than some lousy video clips. no need to rethink anything, i watched it live, and seen what exactly happened. and yes it was wrong, so if you can sit here and tell me that you seen troy murphy throw 1 punch, then you're kidding yourself here. and i wouldnt exactly call musselman shoving a guy, when all he was doing was trying to stop the whole thing and hold bonzi off. then they say, patterson and murphy started fighting, LOL what a load of crap. grbh, here it is again, the article was wrong. am i here to agree with everything said or what? yes the article is wrong, and i will say it how ever many times i want. yea, i see the article failed to mention that part about mills huh guys? its pretty obvious that the hate for the blazers is coming alive here. like pat riley said about the officials. anyone who seen it the way that article said it, obviously watched espn rather than the actual game like i did.

I'm going to give you my oppinion, SSL, exerting my right to do it. First of all, it´s easier to give it to you than to the others 4 or more members implicated. It´s a fact that the discussion moved to the personal sense instead of the basketball subject. I have seen that most (not all of them) of your posts seems to attack personal arguments or just arguments; at the end both things are the same that attacking a person, because our arguments are part of ourselves. Yes, you started talking basketball, but somehow it turned to be a personal discussion. Nobody here is totally guilty or totally inocent, but when the discussion starts to dealing with "sure outlet(i know who you are), whatever you say. im sorry i wont kiss any butt to post on this board, unlike others" type of messages, there are now evident personal attacks and threatening messages and that's unacceptable. I think SSM, that you can start stopping this, if you keep your comments only in the basketball subject AND not attacking other persons' arguments. Just write your comment and if nobody understands it or they ignore it, it´s their problem, not yours. One more thing, and that´s for you SSM and for everybody, when we post our comment on a subjective topic, nobody is right or wrong and nobody has the right to say that other person is right or wrong because it´s a subjective thing, it isn´t a true behind it, just a description with several versions depending on the people involved trying to describe it. We only have to know when it's subjective or when it´s objective. For example, how many points scored Nowitzki last night? It's an objective one. Who start the fight between Raja and Artest? Impossible to know; it's a subjective one. Just my oppinion.

Chiwas: Great post, particularly on the subjective and objective portions and that everyone has a right to their opinion. Great reminder for lots of people, and I certainly include myself in that list.
