Great win! Mavs came out with energy and played like their entire season depended on it. I hope they come out with the same fire and intensity in Game 6.
Starting Haywood was an excellent move. Caron was on fire. Great to see him get out of his major funk. We need him now more than ever. JKidd was pushing the ball and was aggressive throughout (and only 31 minutes!). Dirk was Dirk (except for the turnovers in the end of the 2nd quarter) and JET showed up in the 4th.
Nice win Mavs. You can do this. One game at a time.

You know when I said I was going to the gym and just come back later and find out the score without watching the game? Well................ I lied.
Mavs whooped their candy asses all the way back to the Alamo. And I'm talking about the car rental place, not even the actual monument.

Car rental place...genius. They will get a chance to do that for real--as they have done a couple other times recently--if they take the game Thursday night.

this.
Mavs will start the next game flat, jumpers not falling, ticky tacky calls, Dice can bearhug Dirk like he did in SA and series over by halftime.

They've been showing up all series, and it's the reason why it's not over already.
This is the WCF we are watching. Yes, they are legit. And yes, so are we.

This obviously goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway:
Nobody change your Chuck Norris avatar. It obviously worked.

I wouldn't be so certain of this if I were you.
Carlisle, while very late to do so, has made appropriate changes in several offensive habits of our players, both on the halfcourt and transition,
as well as several key changes in minutes/rotation, which has altered our defensive presence significantly.
It is now up to popavitch to make his adjustments in game 6.
this series will, if anything, not devolve to it's status prior to any of these changes...
...which is what your post appears to be a short description of.

you expected him to drive it hard to the basket when we're up 26 in garbage time? you're better than this.

When the Spurs feel we've been playing dirty all series (they have as many flagrants as we do, but whatever)? They'd love nothing better than give one of our players a nice hard foul or even something harder, if possible.

Not sure I understand Damp getting zero minutes...but I like it.
Damp does plays tough on Duncan...but gives you ZERO offense and very little mobility on D. Haywood didn't play like superman tonight, but his feet and hands are quick, and most importantly, the Mavs aren't playing 4v5 on the offensive end.

This.
Damp hasn't been remotely the same since his knee and hand injuries.
But all little things compared to a trouncing of the Spurts. I don't care who plays when we beat them by 20+.

No but I didn't expect him to jack up a 3 everytime he touched it. Stupid, rookie play.

That's not the point.
The point is that people around here have an irrational excitement about athleticism and turn a blind eye to questionable decision making.
Thus their lust for Roddy.
