The Crazies is a decent horror flick. Nothing original but well made and suspenseful.

Agree with this. If they wanted someone that would appear to be more than just a hot chick, i would have gone with jennifer connelly. Hot as hell, but still looks like she's got something going on upstairs.

A great combo of modern and cult classic. Definitely had the feel of an old John Carpenter flick.

Watched A Thin Blue Line again over the holiday weekend. A must-see for anyone who lives in Dallas.

Went and saw Predators today.
Defiantly the best Predator sequel. Almost as good as the original. It did feel at times like a remake, but in a good way, and the new ideas/fight scenes were excellent additions.
As a big fan of the first movie and the monster, I was not disappointed. After the AvP movies I wasn't expecting much and was therefore pleasantly surprised by both the nice pacing and lack of over thinking that nearly ruined any chance of this franchise ever being good again.
The movie went back to the root of what made the original work so well. Tell a story about the hunter being hunted without relying on special effects to drive the movie. Actually letting actors and characters work within the material, and creating a sense of tension. You know, making the audience give a crap about who lives or dies, something many horror movies can't seem to do anymore.
I'd give it a seven out of ten. Good popcorn movie, worth renting, or seeing in the theater if you are as bored as I am with the abundance of family movies and over-produced action flicks.

So i just saw inception........WOW. I promise you it's unlike any movie you will ever see. It takes true talent to pull something like this off. I'm going to make the argument chris nolan is the greatest director alive.

I recommend seeing " the Infidel." I saw it through the hotel pay-per-view, but I don't know if it's available elsewhere in the US.

I thought Inception was a very good movie but above that it was an extremely interesting concept (with incredible visuals to boot).

Inception was amazing. It should be more highly regarded than it is (84% on RT). The bad reviews seem to be by people who didn't understand, or even want to or try to understand the film.

There wasn't much to understand from it. It was a straight forward idea very well told. It's a lot of info to take in, but none of it is very complicated (and everything was very well explained through the narrative).

I agree (aside from the ending left open to interpretation). Clearly you haven't read some of the negative reviews though. Because some people found it too complicated.

Absolutely. My favorite movie of the year. Came out too early, but easily, easily deserved a Oscar nom, as did Rockwell.

Finally caught A-Team last night. Bradley Cooper and the guy playing Murdock were excellent. Liam Neeson was good, but his british accent came through way too often for a US Army Soldier. And Rampage Jackson was passable, which was better than I expected.
I loved all of the action scenes except the last one. They were all over the top, but the earlier ones were at least somewhat believable. The last was just waaaaaaaaaaaay too over the top. But I still really liked the movie. Definitely worth seeing.

Question... (POSSIBLE INCEPTION SPOILER)
Cobb went into limbo before the asian dude, right? It shows Cobb and the girl go in first AND while they are in there Cobb says "he should be in here soon"... so why was Cobb so much younger than him when they met up? Did Cobb have to reenter limbo?

Chloe......Not going to lie, i originally only wanted to see this for a few select scenes, but overall it was a pretty decent movie. the twist was way too predictable, and the end i didn't care for, but i liked it.
