A serious topic indeed. How many laboratories handle harmful bacteries (or viruses) with a high risk for the people? How many of they are without proper control? How many of they are in conflictive, undeveloped, or enemy countries?

i cannot believe this!! Doc, please explain how this could happen. don't plagues have to be in level 3 labs or something? (i can't remember the terminology)
good thing none of the janitorial crew ever thought to sell some plague on the internet... or did they?

smiles- I really cannot comment on this right now for reasons that I just don't want to get into.
I will say that you are correct in your assessment of BSL-3 laboratories. I'll post more later if you really want to know, but for now I have to respectfully decline. |
