Hate that foul. We're going to send a ~90% free throw shooter to the line for two shots. He could have gotten vertical and set instead and forced a harder shot.

Despite Marion hitting that shot, would love to see us getting the ball to Dirk on a more consistent basis.

I think the Thunder are serious contenders this year. If they trade Westbrook for Rondo?
Yikes.

He has hit VERY FEW as a Mav, the last time I can remember Trix being consistent with the 3 was in PHX.

Alby ftw!
This is a very nice win. Finally beat OKC (counting preseason, this is attempt #4). Rotation looks more stabilized. Center tandem looks strong. Odom and VC look more integrated. Defense was sound.

What was that sign by Dirk at the end? I know he was doing the German 3 with his right hand, but what was he doing with his left?

Something between him and Holger (I think).
He's been doing it for a while now.

Pic of the Dirk "sign?"
Great game by the Boys. With Gino out for awhile, Dallas has a great chance to run the table.

No picture that I've seen, but he puts his left fist in the air and places 2 fingers over his wrist.

A Dr. told me, this sign is made by gynecologists when you ask them for the time.

ps: but do not ask Dirk what it means or why he is doing it. A couple of yrs ago someone asked him and Dirk was pretty annoyed (which is unusual) about this question. He wants to keep it private.

Now THIS was a solid win. Toronto was a given, they aren't really a competitive team this year, but OKC is a contender. I thought Westbrook should have put on a Mavs jersey, he was helping us all night by building that brick house under the basket!

He's been doing it a long time as well. At least 5 years so i don't think it is a girlfriend. I actually thought it was for a person that comes to the games and he's known for a while. Someone he met here I thought.

I was shocked when i saw he made 4 last year. I watched every single Mavs games (minus the blowout loss against the Lakers in the regular season) and i would have swore he didn't make one whole year, but apparently, he made 4. Shocking, really. He should just forget it.
How this guy made 141 threes, on .387 shooting one season, nobody knows. It's hard to think about how he could make 5 in a row in practice, and he flipped 141 of those bad boys in, in a season, on an elite percentage.
Anywho, we great really well last night, loved Carter's, and Odom's energy, our team defense was also close to where it was last season. Win at least 8 out of the next 10, and we can get excited again. Go Mavs!
