I forgive your stealing of my chance at GDT stardom only because I like your signature. But if the Mavs go on a horrible losing streak, it's on you big guy.
Oh and GO MAVS!!!!!!

C'mon Nowhereman, you should know the rules.
You guys need to lock up the GDT stuff. We're getting too close to the playoffs for this stuff to be happening.

So, since when does the rules changed for the GDT? Happened often the last few times after a win!

I laughed at the GDT title, personally.

Come on man, don't be that guy.
I'll pray for your soul if we lose this one.

will we win or lose
and what's it going to take for us to get a win, aside from the really obvious answers.

My bad guys. I'm on East Coast time and was getting angstsy.
Besides, after that last win, I'm all for saving some of Bobby's mojo for the playoffs.

hate the clips, both cp3 and blake griffin are little whining bitches
griffin only shoots 43% on shots that aren't dunks. his shooting percentage outside of the paint has to be less than 40%. He's clearly over rated and I'm just over all the hype he gets for dunking.

Looking for Delonte to have a good game tonight.
LO-hope he gets valuable minutes and contributes like he has been.
And for the love basketball, defend the P&R! Its a win if they do that. I do not want to see a bunch of Blake Griffin dunks (although they look nice).
Mavs coming for that 4 seed!

This is a game where we should IMO try to wear down CP3 with a steady dose of Roddy/West/Jet. Not a good matchup for Kidd...imo.

It's the worst possible matchup for him, the evil midget enjoys destroying him, and even let him know it during playoff games. He's by far the biggest Mavs killer in the last few years, often nearing quadrible doubles against us. Starting Kidd and Carter is a recipe for disaster, Roddy or West should definitely start with him. Foye won't kill the old man.

"Recipe for disaster" is going a bit overboard considering how things went the last time the Mavs played them.

Or the board could use rules that were in place long before whatever the hell we're doing now. The game day thread was opened by whomever no earlier than 1 second past midnight on the day of the game. That way, we could actually have a game day thread open throughout the entirety of the day.

Depends. CP3 normally doesn't force the issue that early, tries to get teammates involved. Also, Matrix will guard him.

Easy win. And by easy win I mean we win by 1 point when they miss a shot at the end of game buzzer.

Nah some scrub always goes off on the Mavs.
Bobby Simmons goes off for like 5 threes or some crap like that.

Paul had a bad night, here are Chris Paul's averages against us, in 13 games, since Kidd is a Maverick.
24,5 PPG 10,3 APG 2,8 SPG while shooting 52% from the floor. In short, he's putting up offensive GOAT candidate like numbers, since Kidd is with Dallas. I would definitely start West or Roddy on him, not just because Kidd can't guard Paul, but because he's something for Paul, like the color red to a bull. (if that's not an urban legend )

And what are his numbers when Marion guards him?

When did Marion guard him? I think he didn't, up until this season, Marion didn't really guard PG's for us, and after seeing what Lin did to Shawn, i wouldn't exactly be optimistic about his chances either. I'm not saying Paul can't have a bad game with Marion on him, or he can't dominate Roddy or West, either could happen, but i still think the best bet is any of those 2, and since Carlisle's unlikely to play Roddy much from now on, West should be starting today.

Paul was 3-for-5 against Marion, two threes, 1 FTA - 2-for-5, 0 threes, 3 FTA otherwise.
Kidd, Odom out for tonight. Assume Budapest gets his wish and West will start then.
At least we had a full roster for one game.

Just heard on 103.3 FM that Kidd is out a week with a groin injury.

Ugh @ Kidd
Dude ain't mobile enough to be pulling his groin.
And Lamar shouldn't have ditched his headband. Clearly he is suffering from withdrawal which weakened his immune system.

Carlisle said that the issue was one that had been lingering since last week with Kidd. West is still having issues with his finger whenever he gets it swiped at. Jones will be activated tonight and there's a chance he could see some action.

I' m guessing the injury occurred during the LA game and is the reason why West returned earlier than expected from his finger injury.
