I figured, im no expert on this stuff.
Would be nice to dump Haywood, Terry, and possibly the 17th pick and pick up Dwight.
Don't know how all that cap space and trade stuff works or what it would take to get Dwight in Dallas.
Would be awesome to see Dallas with Dirk, Dwight, and Deron.

I think we can make a trade work, but I doubt we could convince them to take on Haywood. How about this:
Dallas Sends
Marion
Odom
Vince
Roddy
1st
Orlando Sends
Dwight
Turk
I think that works cap-wise if we renounce our rights to Terry. We'd be able to re-sign Kidd via Bird Rights, but we'd be shut out of the Deron sweepstakes.

If Tyson Chandler could be included in the deal.............. our odds would go from 5% to 25%.

Probably if tyson were available we would be thinking about how to get deron in here and forgetting the Dwight pipe dream.

We couldn't afford him at max-level money with Dirk, Dwight, and Turk on the roster.

doubtful. Our offense was the main problem, probably got out of the first round. That being said if Tyson was here we would have to get rid of haywood and marion without taking back much money at all.

Ya that sucks, but I think Howard is a better option than D-Will if it's possible. Turk isn't a bad player to have either. Our defense and rebounding would be anchored for years and we could bring in Nash and let West back him up.

If the Nets get the first overall, they trade it for Dwight Howard, re-sign Deron Williams, and open up in a new stadium in Brooklyn.
And we get left at the prom without a ride home.
Thanks, Cuban.

On the flip side, we could have signed Tyson and JJ, and both could have had career-ending injuries before the ink dried. It's a calculated risk that I'm glad the MBT took.

If they trade him it will show with out a doubt what an absolute moronic fool he was for giving up his option to opt out. He should have at least been givin an option to approve all trades. Now if he is traded he will more than likely go to a team that will have had to give up to much and leave him with little supporting cast. Leaving him then in the same position that caused him to want to be traded out of Orlando.

Eh, once you get your anchor the supporting cast can be easy to come by; as long as you have an owner willing to make it happen. Giving him control over trades is just moronic, he is a player, not a GM. You need to have accountability in anything successful. Whether he likes it or not, he just needs to shut up and do his job.
