While that has to beat whatever the Nets could throw out there, Rockets could easily trump it. Unless they are totally scared off by the rumors that Dwight wont re-sign in Houston.
So does anyone care to hypothesize to what degree Bynum re-signing with Lakers would help/hurt the Mavs cause? How would trade kickers, etc. factor in? No way Bynum gets a no trade clause, right? Dirk and Kobe are the only ones in the league with them. Seems to me that Bynum wont re-sign knowing he could wind up on a rebuild if he does. Works in the Mavs favour.
