It took forever for Carlisle to put a defender (Dhnatay) on the PG to turn the game around. Better late than never I guess.

Elton Brand gets less than 11min for the game. That is something to watch.

Doesn't really contribute. I don't know if he and Kaman are just out of shape or what, but they need to play better. Not enough hustle from either of them.

RC managed a back to back. Brand probably sat a lot due tothe back to back even if he deserves to sit because of his play. Probably why DoJo played over Roddy at first. Then Dojo responded.

Mayo with only 9 shots. With all the guys taking shots on this team, I want Mayo taking more than 9.
19pts on only 9 shots. How nice would it be if that efficiency maintained after Dirk returns?

That wasn't the turning point. The turning point was putting DoJo in as the backup PG instead of Roddy. From the end of the 1st quarter on (when DoJo came in) the play picked up tremendously.
Hell, even Dirk on twitter said DoJo should get the gameball.

I'll say it here to start an argument but I really believe we have no place for Roddy. We used to have a team that had a hard time with speed and offense. He was the perfect guy to come in as a changeup pitcher.
But now we have plenty of speed (Collison, Dojo) and scoring (OJ, Kaman, Wright, Collison) that we don't need a speed-based comboguard out there-- at least not bad enough to sacrifice playmaking ability and Roddy is still very raw as a playmaker and floor general and may never be a true point.

Yep, his days have been numbered ever since we drafted Cunningham, and DoJo's recent play is probably the nail in the coffin.

I'll take up that argument. DoJo was pretty god-awful in the 3rd quarter last night, and even in the first half his impact owed mainly to the energy he brought, and was in spite of him making plenty of the same kinds of mistakes we're used to seeing him make. As I see it, none of the point guards on the roster have played consistently well enough to make any of the others expendable. We're still in a wait-and-see (with varying degrees of hope) with all of them.

Dojo was ok last night but his "J" is killing the Mavs. The one time he got blocked on a three, i was glad because it would have been an airball i assume!
