WTF is everyone talking about?

You know why he didn't go to Dirk? Because Dirk came out to set a screen, and couldn't get himself open, because James' guy was shading onto him.

There was a lot of time on the clock.. He didn't have to take the long 2. (The possession after the late shot clock 3 that Dirk forced him into)

I'll rewatch once it's archived on League Pass. Dirk didn't move after setting the screen until about 8 seconds left. There was about 6 on the clock IIRC when James took the shot. They weren't going to get a better look than that with Dirk double-teamed and everyone else staying home and very little time on the clock.

Because there was no need to take that long 2 with plenty of time of the shot clock. It was just a bad shot. If he'd have drove to the lane and popped one, I wouldn't have cared so much. But its a low percentage shot.

There were ~5 seconds left on the clock, and no one was even remotely open, and there were at least three defenders between him and the rim. That's the best look you're getting there.
