GDT: Thunders vs Mavs 830 espn
Mavs win this one 107-103. Dirk goes to work on Perkins/Ibaka. Refs decide to call collison for all actual fouls on dirk, collison fouls out in 6 defensive possessions.

Glad to see the forum more lively with discussion since the "fans" have come back after the win streak.

I wonder, would the Thunder have been better if they kept Harden and let go of Westbrook?

With all due repsect answer is no. Harden is a b level star. He had a chance in post season to show if he was worthy he failed.

Not even close. There's a legitimate argument that Westbrook is the 4th best player in the nba.(one I agree with btw)

Too bad we didnt catch them during Ibakas injury.
No pressure on that one at least so i could see us surprising them if everybody plays well.

Sorry, but the mavs are just not there yet. OKC is rested, they have way more offensive power and plenty of defense to go along with it. Our ability to exploit their tendency to turnover still does not eclipse thier ability to exploit our same tendency.
A better game than the last, but it will get away from Dallas in 3Q.

I think the win streak ends here today as well but its at home so hopefully our boys find a way to pull it out.
The whole team is going to need to play well for us to have a chance.

had this game circled when first got back, This is the first game I'd expect the German to have a chance to get 30+. This is a rivalry game (still) and I'm really hoping we come to play, this would be a HUGE win on national television

Given how good of a performance the Mavs showed against OKC last outing, I can see a win but I wouldn't put any money on it. I think to even stand a chance, Kaman's minutes need to be limited to the first half and not while Dirk is on the floor (in other words Brand starts), Carter needs to ride the bench the entire 4th, and Mike James should not be allowed to shoot.

Mike James doesn't need touches to be effective

He should not be allowed to be on the floor!
After winning the last games, this one is a bonus.

i dont think dirk is gonna have a good game. He moves his feet well, but its gonna be harder for him to take shots over perkins or ibaka. Mayo and Carter needs to take better shots. DC needs to create open shots for others. Kaman should get fouled out in the 1st quarter and Brand needs to keep it up.

Dirk's shot is off. He needs some Holger treatment.
