Rookie center Fab Melo is here at TD Garden after being called up by the Celtics from the Maine Red Claws of the D-League, but he won't be in uniform. He's here to watch the game and get treatment for a concussion he recently suffered walking into a door frame.

Including one that almost hit the ceiling. He's been very Kobe this season, both good and bad. Mostly good.

Ouch! No wonder no one wants to play with Kobe-- just strange that LA is still a dream location for many players.

I wonder if these players (those playing in NY and LA) ever consider the additional taxes they will be paying in those states.

Ooof! Apparently the Howard-Kobe fight article was irresponsibly written by a Brooklyn based reporter and could be absolute crap-- perhaps even connected with Perkherov.
I don't doubt that there is strife. Howard has basically said that he doesn't like Kobe off court, but the report of the fight was probably overstated.

Best thing about this season is that there's a chance the 100M Lakers will miss the playoffs. Would be grand.

Hilarious to listen to D'Antoni questioned about the Lakers defense. He tries so hard to pretend that they actually focus on that in any way whatsoever.

Congrats to Steve Nash! 10,000 assists is huge. He was ours, he was the best friend of Dirk, we had so much fun watching them together. And then, we let him go... And then we enjoyed Devin Harris and Avery Johnson...
And then we had Tyson Chandler, he was a good friend of Dirk, we had so much fun watching them together. And then, we let him go... And then we enjoyed Lamar Odom...

Honey Nut Cheerios
Very disappointed not to see this story reported here. Celtics v. Knicks, KG tells Carmelo that Lala Vásquez (Melo's estranged wife) tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios, prompting double technicals, a kindergarten chest-bumping tantrum, and a 6-26 shooting performance from Melo in a homecourt loss to the undermanned Celtics. After the game, Melo waits for KG in the tunnel to the visitors' lockerroom, then tries to confront KG on the Celtics team bus. NYPD, MSG security and NYKs coach Woodson intervene before Melo can be beaten to a pulp. League suspends Melo for the NYKs upcoming game against the Pacers. That, NBA fans, is leadership.
And all over this, the upper thigh hair follicles of which can be seen from outer space:

Ian Mahinmi had a nice game for the Pacers tonite. Hibbert left w/back spasms
and Ian had 3 big baskets in the 4th. Looks like he increased his range out to
18ft. Also looks like he's in much better shape, quicker and more active.

The Hawks currently have 22 points in the 3rd period of their game against the Bulls right now. Wow.

Lakers down 19 with 7:30min to go and cut it to 7 after a Earl Clark three (lol)...that was almost like the Bobcats pissing away their win against the Lakers in late december
Lakers 17-23 and tomorrow b22 at Bulls, then at Grizzlies va Utah and vs Thunder
They may end up 17-27...

K. Durant 37 Pts, 7 Reb, 8 Ast, 2 Stl
R. Westbrook 36 pts, 8 Reb, 9 Ast
but OKC still lost to Nuggets 121-118 in OT
I wish we hadn't traded away Corey Brewer (though I think that is how we got Peja (please correct me here))
in his game vs the Lakers....
Brewer had a season-high 27 points (9-16 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go with three boards, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 24 minutes.
and in this game against OKC Brewer had
26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, 1 steal in 34 min of playing time.

So Brooklyn letting the littlest Napoleon go is. Looking pretty good. 9-1 and 3rd in the east.

Just announced Rajon Rondo actually tore his ACL instead of just a hyper-extended knee. Tough break for the Celtics as he was having a great year (leader in assists).

Wonder if there will be a yard sale now? They'll either become buyers or sellers. 8th in the East right now but a losing record and no Rondo. If they were doing worse, I'd start asking about Pierce-- even take back Terry or Garnett in the process.
Anyway, this is a terrible trade, but would you do it?

Rondo acts like an ass on the court, so i say nice karma
Celtics semi-rebuilding fire sale could happen but again im not willing to screw the capspace for PP or Terry. Garnett has a no trade clause

Nash with 5 assists. Pretty sad that the dude can't even do what he's best at, because Kobe demands the ball so much.
