A lot of people want to give Cuban crap and im sure he has earned some of it.
Cuban isn't stupid, he knows he needs to make some moves and when the opportunity is there he will make the moves to get the right guys here.
I love Mark Cuban as owner of the Mavericks, he is the reason the Mavs are what they were the past 12 years, including an NBA championship.
I trust Mark Cuban, the man is just as passionate as any of us and he also knows if the team doesn't improve he will lose money.
No matter what happens this season i trust Mark Cuban to get this team on the right track.
The Mavs weren't much before Mark Cuban and look where he has got us.
Be patient, we've got an owner who will get us on the right track.
Mark Cuban loves his Mavs just as much as anybody here.

Well, that's all nice, but we need wholesale changes, and I'm not sure he can pull it off.

Do we not have an assistant out there who can tell RC to stop playing Crowder and James?

JVG gets its..Something that Carlisle doesn't.
Crowder is a slasher, defender, rebounder. Not someone who should put up 3pters. Remember how good his all around game was in Summer League.

Dirk's defense just isn't going to cut it. He has to be much, much better on offense to negate his liability on defense.

Indeed. Said it earlier that they should utilize him in a different way.
Collison back in, Parker takes over again.

Carlisle needs to be embarrassed that he allowed this to happen with so much time to prepare.

The team missed an awful of easy shots in the beginning which didn't help. However, letting Blair go off for 22pts in 18 minutes is insane. Blair isn't even in Pop's doghouse, he has been in a kennel at the SPCA.

So, this was the 3rd game where RC wanted the D to suck in and give up threes, and for the third time the Mavs got beaten badly!

What about the irony @ Roddy being the leading scorer for tonight. This is what we all thought he would be occasionally doing by now two years back. No?

And when you don't get down by 27pts, your late game efforts might actually work.

Yes, Roddy scored 19. And now he will suck for 19 games...
There are thousands of inconsistent guards like him. No need to get excited.

Yep, because James is sooo good/better that he should even start, eh?

How many times has he played 10 minutes in a game this year? He can't score sitting on the bench or in street clothes. RC has badly managed this kid. This is the same kid who brought the team back in a playoff game in SA and got benched. He gave us his opinion of Roddy then and it hasn't changed. He'll go somewhere else (probably San Antonio) and play well. You will probably ask why he didn't do that here. Here's the answer...RC.
Quick, name me one young player who RC has developed. Answer none. He won with a veteran team. He is not a teacher. Pop or Karl would have this kid confident and efficient.

This times a million. Roddy got a chance tonight because the other pgs weren't up to the task. I still don't get the Mike James signing...

You're pretty ignorant when it comes to the Spurs, clearly. How do you think they've built their record? Not by riding just those big three players-Manu and Tim have missed games and the Spurs kept winning. Why? Oh-because of their bench. They nearly beat the Heat without those three and Green.

I didn't understand all the ill-advised jump shots by a lot of players. That's a sure recipe for losing. Share the ball, play smart, play unselfish. If you fall behind, play hard, go into the paint, get fouled, whatever it takes.

It's good to see Dirk's offense looking more fluid, but his defense is still at a point where he'd have to be otherworldly offensively to make up for it. He was just brutal in all areas defensively last night.
That performance from Roddy should be enough to cut Mike James.
