James getting ready to check back in, ending a dominant stretch on both ends from Brand.
It's a shame Roddy got himself in foul trouble. He should have been getting a lot more burn this quarter.

I'd feel so much better about this seemingly easy win if GSW wasn't on the end of a 3 games in 4 nights.

Gotta love a 35 year old, multiple-time all star taking a charge when his team's up by 27 points.

DC was awesome early, Marion was great throughout, but Brand is the clear MVP of that first half. Just an awesome showing out there on both ends.

Dirk just cannot sustain anything. The Portland game is the only one in which he did. And he got hurt afterwards....

Winded all the time, can't back guys down, shot gone. Don't know what happened but whatever it was happened in the blink of an eye and his game is gone.

I'm not sure. But that's the Golden State bench (note the warriors t-shirt on the guy behind him).

Dirk missed 2 months and he will need 2 months to be 100% again. That's how it goes.

Wow. Some of you guys need to GTFO out of here with the negativity.
The Mavs are up by 20. Marion, Brand, and DC are dominating tonight.

Seems awfully matter of fact suggesting Dirk is done. He made only three field goals but finished with 15 points. He missed free throws but it's not like he was getting fouled on jump shots each time. He was attacking. He was backing people down and going to the rim.
I would agree with Carlisle's assessment in saying he hopes that Dirk keeps getting the kind of looks he had tonight. It's obvious and understood Dirk is a guy that needs rhythm. He needs reps and a persistent approach to get back into a flow. You can tell he's not hesitant like he was when he first came back in San Antonio. He admitted he didn't want the ball. He's calling for it now and working on backing people down closer to the block.
I'm not really sure why people are shocked a guy the age of Dirk is struggling to find his way when he's coming off knee surgery.

Dirk played right despite the cold start. Don't understand why there is a lot of discrediting. When he's getting into the flow of things after his first ever surgery and rehab. Not to mention learning the new players style on the court. Good thing he has the all star break to add more practice in.

Me either. To say he's done seems premature at best.

Nice win, still hard for me to believe in the playoffs though. Kinda need 'that' game where they put everything together and fight off a quality opponent.
