Default Looks like another team is copying the 2011 Mavs "funeral" ritual

Rick Carlisle's method trying to be copied. Apparently Knicks claimed it was Kenyon Martin who told them to dress in black. But I think Kidd and Tyson were the ones. For some reason stuff like that kinda annoys me. Just like players trying to mimic Dirk's signature fadeaway.

Apparently JR Smith didn't get the memo.

I don't understand why they're doing this in the first round? You haven't accomplished anything yet.

I hope the Celtics come back and bury them (no pun intended). I hate the Knicks. They think their shit dont stink. Wearing black in the first round? Douches. And after the game Kenyon Martin got pissed at a reporter for asking him about the funeral. And I like the Celtics. Hard nosed old vets.

I wanna see the disappointment on the face of Kidd and Tyson as well.

Chandler I wish well, but I agree with everything else. Carmelo is a douche. Kidd left a bad taste in my mouth. Knicks are cocky bastards.

The Knicks are trying to be the counterfeit version of the lovable 2011 Mavs, but with their roster consisting of Melo, JR and K-Mart, it's more like a counterfeit late-decade Nuggets team that I dreaded.

Agree, but in the heat of the moment watching the games, he's on the knicks therefore I wish to see him and the roster lose.

I highly doubt the Mavs were the first team to do this.

Bull shit it was Terry/Chandler who came up with it. Stop giving RC any undeserved credit, christ.

You said the funeral dress code thing was RC's method. It wasn't. I didn't say RC had no effect on the title team, but the overly amount of praise he got was definitely undeserved.

Dogs fighting for scraps of credit. This is what tearing down the championship team
Has done to the fan base.

Each member has to be torn down to justify this dry powder crap.

This was ridiculous to see.

I wanted the Knicks to win only to see Wade not get another ring. Now that is one smug son of a gun whose face I could not stand to see plastered on Sports Center.

Lets go Indiana?
