Memphis rebounds... but Gasol really isn't a good low post player. And Randolph isn't as good down low as he used to be.

Yeah, I don't really see MEM as a serious contender.

Finally we're seeing the REAL Jose Calderon. When he, Dirk, and Ellis are ballin', the Mavs will compete with any team.

Does the NBA realize that this new "delay of game" rule actually delays the game even more!?

Wasted passes from Ellis by Blair.
Mekel should never shoot a jump shot.

Blair is a really solid offensive option cutting to the rim.
Get that big body in motion and guys get the heck out his way.
Also, he has GREAT hands for a big.

If Crowder hits the outside shot, he may continue to get more run than Ellington.

Btw, is BG still working for the Mavs? Or has he taken his talents to South Beach?

I think he is manning the Mavs coverage tonight instead of Timmy Mac.

Ellis has drifted out of this game. Need to get him involved and attacking.

I don't like how the offense basically went away from Ellis. He needs regular touches.
It just makes little sense to consistently exclude your best playmaker.

Seems like it just took Memphis the first quarter to wake up after their overtime game. Mavs got way too comfortable with the lead. I have no idea why Marion is taking so many shots

I'd like to see Monta try and get to the rim when he does have it though.
Memphis is large inside but no real shotblockers.
Gasol winning DPOY last year was a joke.

Wow, did anyone just see the 76ers beat the Bulls? Michael Carter-Williams had 26pts 10asts 3stls and Phili is 3-0....

Not a dumb rule at all. Memphis did it twice to slow down the game so they could set up.
Players will stop touching the ball after a few more games.
