Curse the Clippers
Whatever the outcome of today's events I think one thing NEEDS to be done.
It's time to pull out all of our VooDoo. This is an act of war and will not be taken lightly.
Curse the Clippers. Their franchise. Their players. Their staff. Top to bottom.

This could honestly be a blessing in disguise. I did not think that a Parsons/Matthews/Jordan core would have been enough to compete for a championship in the next 3 to 4 years. We need that next franchise talent and chances are that we will get that talent exactly where we got our last one, in the draft. If Jordan decides to stay with us, we'll still need to get an all-star scorer next summer or after that.

Parsons/Matthews/Jordan/Dirk (is he still on the team?) may not have but all of those and one more big fish in FA next year could have.
Doesn't matter, though. We are in for a bumpy, unexpected rebuild in which we don't even get our 2016 draft pick, because Rondo is an asshole.

It was Jordan who called Doc Rivers on Monday. Can't hate on the team when the player caused this.

Why? If you were the Clippers, you would've done the same thing because they had no other options at center. I would be pissed if they orchestrated this whole thing (which, maybe they did and it hasn't been reported), but if Jordan called them, f him. He is the guy to blame.

I'm not saying it's logical, but Clippers are a pile of horsecrap and everyone knows it. I can hate them if I want.
I'll hate on Jordan, too.
Don't tell me I can't, please.

We get to keep it if we are bad enough. And we better be if we need to be.

This is my stance as well. I didn't think much of a hobbled Parsons and Matthews core to begin with. We were still truly about a year or two away from truly contending depending on what we did in free agency next year.
So i'm so over all of this. This free agency game is meant to get your burned. Look at the Lakers and the Knicks. They've spent all of these years wasting Kobe and Melo's primes promising getting help from free agency and it never came and never will. But atleast for their sake they've sucked bad enough to get some decent prospects.

I wonder if the Clippers would have went after Jordan again if the Mavs hadn't shut the door on them acquiring Hibbert via sign-and-trade?

A valid question. Also will make one wonder if the Mavs should have just kept Chandler. Tons of woulda, shoulda, couldas to contemplate.

If it's a player retention question, you can almost always guarantee that Cuban will screw it up (Nash, Tyson x 2).

Well it's not something we had in mind, but Clippers summer league PG Nate Wolters broke his middle finger.

I used to tell myself that the Clippers we're the better LA team. Now... my past self would hate me for saying they're not.

I don't wish injury upon anyone.........with the exception of the 2015-2016 Clippers. I hope their ACL's snap.
