PGT: remember that one time when Felton and Villanueva beat the Rockets in Houston?
No Dirk, no Wes, no Parsons... Where are all the Houston trolls??

Powell with another good game. Harris had a solid night. In the end too much Ray Ray.

Tim MacMahon
ESPN Staff Writer
Dirk Nowitzki, tongue partially in cheek, after a 110-98 win over the Rockets in which he was one of three Mavericks starters to rest: "I said to the team, screw 2011, this is the greatest win in franchise history. That was great. That was so much fun to watch. Obviously, we’ve got history with the Rockets. They hate us; we hate them. This was a beauty to watch."

Rockets are only as good as the refs are willing to blow their whistles.

I love when the point guards perform the weave at the top of the key. I have a feeling RC is going to enjoy the pieces he has to play with this year.
Charlie V has been either good or bad. There is no in-between with him, it seems.
Raymond is a fun player to watch play. Has a certain swagger about his game. He's nowhere near the sieve I thought he would be on defense when we initially got him.
What's not to love about powell's game thus far this season? I loved when he drove by Harden for the lay up from the three point line. You just see his confidence growing from game to game.
We had a John Jenkins sighting, and he didn't look at all like the chucker we saw in preseason. I think that kid has a chance to be a good player in this system.
Overall, great to beat the Rockets.

@EarlKSneed- Raymond Felton: "All I could think about was Dirk (Nowitzki). He's been a great teammate. Dirk's really been in my corner since Day 1."

If we hit 50 wins this season RC needs to be coach of the year.

The best thing is... we got the winless 76ers up next. Winning these last three was huge because now we have a chance to put together a nice little win streak with the schedule lightening up.

Team basketball combined with tons of effort (+ Dirk being Dirk) is so fun to watch.

Wouldn't that mean the game is being called evenly?

Yep, but for Drexler to blame the refs is hilarious.

I will say that Lawson is dangerously close to being their Rondo. They might want to cut ties before it's too late. You just can't have a ball dominant pg play with Harden.

Think it was during a review where refs were deciding a call like a flagrant etc. Or could have just been Rockets getting whistled for something and Drexler whining. So him saying what do you expect they will call here? All the other calls have gone against us, so will this one.

Mavs really owned the crap out of Houston last night. They were pretty much running the Rockets out of their own gym. Play of the game for me was late in the fourth when Ray-Ray hit Brewer with a crossover and pull-up J. My goodness that was filthy. It's like you could just see the confidence exploding out of Ray on that play. Great win last night.

I've never seen Lawson look so bad. I think they're going to have to bench him or trade him. They did much better when JET was on the floor.

A play I found interesting was in the first quarter Ariza was in transition and slipped and took a hard fall. Justin Anderson actually ran to help him up. What a good kid that rookie is.

Lawson is still an alcoholic and Harden looks like he's pouting that Lawson wants to handle the ball instead of him.

I love how both Harper and Followill comment on how confident Felton looks right before he drills that shot...

Oh but Harden thinks he's still MVP. The Mavs really stepped up while our main guys were out.

Had fun skimming through the GDT on clutchfans. Some still defending harden ("rightful mvp when he wants to be") but others talking about his lack of leadership. A couple think the team threw the game on purpose to send a message to coach. And alot of the teams fault fell on McHale shoulders and many want him gone. Surprised there were rational thoughts over there. Blowouts will do that.
I hope they keep McHale around

muahaha, self proclaimed rightful MVP James "the Flop" Harden having a career year so far.
37% FG and 26% from 3-pt-range but who gives shit when one is gifted 11.2 FTA per game. Seriosuly, anyone who thinks that that guy has any elite skill beyond tricking refs into calls should see a doctor. Sadly he has become a paragon for younger players like Davis and DeRozan who flop their way to the line for 9.x FTA this year...
Fun fact: Hardens Points/FTA ratio is 2.4, Leonard and Bradley Beal score 20+ PPG on ~ 3 FTA with a ratio of 6.8 respectively 7.6 Points/FTA.

Wasn't Kevin McHale their coach? Whatever happened to him? I thought they signed him to a 3-year contract extension. The whole situation seems 'preposterous.'
