PGT: Mavs mess with the Bulls, don't get the horns...
Top scorer for the second game in a row (26 points)...

Could be some of the best games Parsons has played in a mavs uniform.

Not a great game with little defense, but I guess a win is a win without Williams.
Nice to see Parsons with 20 points.

loved the whole team tonight.
As said above - Parsons played a complete game on 8 of 15 shooting, 5reb, 5asts.
Zaza - with a great game - 17 pts, 12 reb
And Powell had 9 points and 6 reb in 21 min of play.

Beginning to like the 4 PGs we have as each brings something special.
Barea - Spark plug in any situation...even as a starter.
Harris - Good defender who plays tough.
Felton - All around basketball savvy with great confidence and can usually back it up.
DWill - A great floor leader with all around skills.
Still think we need another useful big, not sure McGee is ever going to be enough. If Rick doesn't have any faith in 29yo Mejri in any situation that requires a big I can't understand why he is on the team.
Any chance Parsons and Barea impressed Chicago enough to consider them in return for Noah/Gibson?

To be fair, he just wasn't really played much last year. And it isn't like his efficiency and shooting percentages are through the roof. I think one of his biggest contributions is actually his rebounding since the guard position definitely needs it.

And it was completely warranted. He was outright fat, was playing like garbage for the NY Knicks, and didnt have the best reputation. On top of that, gun charges. Doesnt sound like a guy that's engaged in his career.
I have no problem admitting I was wrong. But the hate he was getting wasnt unfairly received.

It's not like Felton plays good right now, his shooting is terrible.

He's not a top 20 point guard in the league, but he has certainly done enough to exceed limited expectations for him and he doesn't destroy offensive efficiency like the point guard we had for the second half of last season. He has been a pleasant surprise.

I'm really enjoying watching this team.
Parsons and Matthews getting fully healthy and zoned in will be fascinating.

ok, we've talked about the problem of evil, and the extent of the atonement's application, but my real question to you is, "Could Jesus dunk?"

Ugh, no. Shooting 40/30 is not good, no matter what. I do like him but he needs to fix that.

IN December, Felton shot 35% from 3, while adding 5 boards and 5 assists. That's a long way from the butterball we watched at the end of the bench.
I think a lot of the Mavs recovery project guys have come here from being banged up elsewhere, like Deron and Tyson, for example. Just being healthy, and in an environment where everyone isn't bashing you because you were not that effective while recovering from injury makes a big difference. Felton went from odd man out to effective starter. If he can play at least this well the rest of the season, he could be a huge help. He hits some timely shots, too.

I wouldn't exactly call him a starter. 6th man off the bench and odd man when someone in starting 5 is injured. Otherwise I've liked what I've seen from him, especially when finishing games.

I don't think Felton did anything to warrant the hate he got last season. As soon as he got here you could just see the guy wanted a fresh start. In his time here he's always been a good teammate and a hard worker. I don't care what happened in NY or in his stint with the Trailblazers, all I know is he likes playing for us and plays hard. People were still hating on the guy last season even though he wasn't even a big part of the rotation. Now this season comes and Ray's contributed a lot to our team even though his shooting hasn't been great. I'm happy to see Ray making people eat crow, the criticism he got last year was just straight up unfair.

I don't think anyone was really hating Felton that much last season. He didn't have an important enough of a role to warrant any serious attention. There's a difference of hating someone and making fun of someone. I remember a lot of making fun of his eating habits but nothing of hateful from last season, other than him being untradable.
