Justin Anderson should've been getting consistent minutes ALL year long..........it takes for our whole lineup to be sitting out for him to get it.

This Mavs roster can compete if they put in a team game. We may not have a lebron or curry. The roster this year plays toughest I've seen in a while.

Pretty sure we would have lost anyway but I swear Green is allowed to do whatever he wants with no fouls called ever.

Don't let this fool you. I don't think anyone believes they can't score. Its the defending where things get bad. Its note even about really defending well all game. Its just about being able to get key stops. This team can't do that.

The way Wes and Charlie played it's showing a good sign that there's something. Lots of confidence can be built. We'll see how this Mavs roster responds next games.

Played with even less personnel than usual... played in one of the most difficult courts to win at... played against the refs, too... and still kept the game close until the end... I could care less about the loss... very proud of the Mavs...!

I think Lee playing PF only works. Enough with him at center.

Well CV3 had a good 4th quarter so his minutes are going to go up now.

I've said all season that the Mavs match up quite well against GS. They've played some of their best basketball in all three games against them.
And frankly, the Mavs look like a team again these past four games. Seems too little, too late, but at least we might not be a huge embarrassment against GS after all if we get them first round.

I wouldn't hold my breathe on Charlie. This is what he is. He's a guy that needs consistent minutes and playing the whole 4th quarter did his game wonders. He's not that come in and give you 10 points type of guy. He needs more minutes to be effective and he needs the ball in his hands to do it.
Wes' jumper is coming along. I think you can expect Wes to be even more efficient now with his role increasing in the offense since Parsons is hurt.
The Mavs can't stop anybody and this Warriors team.......not the greatest defensive team but it has the ability to get stops because they do have capable defenders.

I think most teams feel they matchup well with the Warriors lol. They are a undersized team with jump shooters and a great ball handler in Curry.
Its how quick they are able to score points is where things get messy. They can score 10 points in 2 minutes and before you know it you are down 20 points.
I'm not sure what's the correct approach to beating them. The Spurs seemed to be able to slow the game down and get to them. I wouldn't want to get into a shootout with them. The range that Curry and Thompson have......its honestly nothing i've ever seen before. The shots they jack up........are terrible shots for 99.9% of the players in the league.

lol @ people who think we have a shot to win vs the Warriors if we make the playoffs. Neither teams fully healthy every time they played each other this season. Mavs play no defense whatsoever. All the high octane offense will not help during the playoffs. Defense wins championship and we have none. Last time we had defense was back in 2011. We need our next Shawn Marion. Next Tyson Chandler. Next Deshawn Stevenson. Next Jason Kidd before we talk about winning against the Elite teams of the west.

IF the Mavericks make their shots (shot making comes and goes), then they'd have to go the root of a shootout. The team is a mess when they try and slow it down with grinding sets. Obviously you try and slow Curry and Thompson down, but the Mavs are a run and gun team at heart. Just a much older one that is injured a lot with inconsistent shot making.

IMO, their best bet is throwing Justin Anderson out there. He may not have the scoring but impressed with his athleticism and defense.
I agree though. WE can't really play the game that the Spurs play and slow it down. We will have to go in a shootout and hope that its one of those days our shot is falling. And even then that may not be enough but it will be our best bet.

I think it pretty much all depends on Deron Williams now that Matthews has come back from the dead offensively. I was so happy to see how Deron played the first of those two Portland games. That player just doesn't really show up anymore, and I feel that there really isn't a clear cut reason as to why. I guess every time he exerts such effort that he gets injured.

Decent chance we'll meet this team in the POs....any chance for sweet revenge from 07?
Similar circumstances but reversed.

I know strains like that could take 2 weeks if he doesn't play for a few days. That's the only way the strain goes away. Still weird, which could mean it's his conditioning. He's played harder I think since Utah. So this can all be a conditioning problem right now.

The Spurs approach was commit a ton of fouls and hope the refs don't call it because they are the Spurs. We can't do that.
I still think in a series a golden state sweep of sa is more likely than an sa win
