Did anyone notice that DWill was dancing with Mavs Maniacs? Or at least his beard was...

Salah must read the forums. He's clearly sick of the mere mention of a Nerlens Noel trade. 12 Rebs in 11mins. Can't say I've ever seen him rebound like that before.

Okafor seems entirely disinterested in boxing out to help rebound. Salah's rebounds and putbacks came with no body being put on him at all.

MFW the Mavs have a 3-game winning streak, 8 out of their last 11, and are 2 1/2 games back of the 8th seed.

@bobbykaralla: Wesley Matthews said during a 2Q TO, Rick Carlisle literally drew a reset button, and Seth Curry literally pushed it. Launched a Mavs run.

The odd part is that we're only 4 games ahead of the last place team in the West... This thing can still go either way.

It's a race to the bottom and no one wants that 8 spot except for us apparently

That's the biggest issue with wanting to tank this season. There are so many bad teams with similar records that some tanking team will finish with a crappy lottery pick no matter how bad they are.
The good news is that there is still plenty of talent in the 8-14 range. Ivan Rabb, Bam Adebayo, Harry Giles...these guys would be top picks in weaker drafts.

I sure hope there is video somewhere of this.

That may be so, but the problem with that logic is that a top pick in a weaker draft is just as likely to be either a) a bust or b) just a regular rotation guy which neither helps this team in the long run.

The thing I hate most about tanking is that if you look at the lotto bound teams in the west, they all have been crappy for several years with the exception of us.
I don't want to join that group.

Same here....never cared much for Noel's game and last night pretty much confirmed that.
I'd rather go after WCS and then resign Mejri.

I think it's an argument that there needs to be lottery protections. In other words, If a team gets a top-3 pick in two consecutive years, they should be limited to an 4-14 the next few years. Teams are soaking up all the talent and doing nothing with them and it hurts the league. Other teams have less talent to work with and teams like the Sixers are turribull.

It was interesting that few months ago when Noel talk was active here, everyone seemed to give low value to him. And this was only confined to this board. I saw fans of other teams willing to give up much more for Noel.
Having seen this game, it is safe to say this board has been much closer to Noel's value than others. I guess the league market seems to agree because if teams would be willing to give anything relatively good for Noel, the trade would have already happened.
I still have no problem giving Powell and maybe Simba for him. This could make Mavs worse on offense. Simba is thrown in simply because having Simba and DFS does not make much sense. Or you could have Harris instead, as Sixers have been looking for a decent guard.

That whole talk about Noel somehow being traded here seemed not realistic.

Yes.
And also while fixing things. Give half an assist for each made free throw on a foul after what would have been a possible assist. So, if I recieve a pass and then get fouled on a shot attempt, the passer gets half an assist on each free throw made.

Nash would have averaged 20apg in his Suns days.
I agree, though. We correct stats on scoring with TS% which accounts for players who are fouled when in good position, but we don't give that credit to passers who find guys inside only to have them fouled.
