Yogi is learning and he should be closing even though he sometimes pounds the ball. Not sure what the future hold but if he is it then we need him to play in these situations.

Happy for Brussino. Can he be our own Bogdanovic down the road?
Aside from that, would rather have the loss.
And yes, Yogi pounds the heck out of the rock. Hopefully after a full offseason and training camp they'll be able to reign that in some.

We have a lot of tough games ahead of us, and getting a lotto pick is still way more likely than making the playoffs, but tonight's win had to give this young team some confidence.
We saw Barnes continue to anchor our offense, Curry bounced back from a slump, Noel bounced back from an injury, Yogi improved his 2-man game with Dirk, and Brussino properly introduced himself to the NBA... Not to mention our veterans -- Dirk put up points, Devin played strong on both ends, and Barea dished up the spice tonight.
This win is something to build on for next season.

Can't believe Washington only looked at the whole Wall thing for like 15 minutes before pretending like nothing changed!

I gotta say I smiled pretty hard when they kept showing Brussino grinning like a kid who just got a bike for x-mas. And during timeout when Hammons was pointing at him and saying something, I'm not even sure Brussino knows what Hammons was saying to him but he was just so happy he couldn't stop smiling. I like that kid. Outside of Dirk milestones, the last time I smiled that hard was ray ray and Dirk doing that pose in the Blazers game when Dirk hit the 3pt'er to give him 40.

Our scoring came from everywhere tonight:
Barnes - 22
Dirk - 20
Curry - 19
Noel - 12
Brussino - 11
Harris - 10
Yogi - 9
With Barea getting 13 assists out of that.

The biggest part of this win to me is this young team really needed a good solid road win to build confidence.

Did I see it right? 12 points scored in the last 15 seconds of the game.

That's what happens when the losing team is only 2 scores behind, and both teams are in the penalty.

I think the big surprise that Noel brings is scoring. We basically don't have any bigs that can score outside of Dirk so it is a welcome addition.
