Cousins in this season is shooting 4.6 3 point attempts, and 3.8 2 pt attempts. Mavs out rebounded the 76ers in this game.

Cousins: 79th-Ranked Defensive Center; Toxic Personality MAY no longer be a problem.

Physically, Cousins is Powell with tattoos and bad character.

I like Seth, but it's not like he was LeBron James. If he would have been, we obviously don't trade him. Or just not being passed around against the Clippers like a joint, would have helped too. "Hey, you want a little Seth? Here you go buddy."

I think the biggest issue with the Mavs offense is lack of a rim runner in the pick and roll... Powell isn’t the same player and WCS isn’t that guy. John Collins would go a long way for us if we can pry him from the Hawks via trade or as an RFA this off-season.

The second issue we have is lack of outside shooting. I hope this will correct as our guys recover from COVID, if not, a guy like Duncan Robinson would do wonders.

I honestly think both are acquirable. The Hawks already have Clint Capela on a huge contract and drafted Okongwu this past offseason. Miami has a lot of holes and Bam’s contract kicks in next season. If I’m the Mavs I’m blowing up the Hawks offering a package including Jalen Brunson for Collins.

Mavs have had no consistency either.

Wanna know which players have played all 31 games?

1) Luka
2) THJ

That's it

Cousins is better than Powell before and after injuries plus he's way cheaper than Powell.

I don't think your understanding what he said...

I take it as him speaking about the trade not the overall league

This was his take regarding the trade of him for Richardson

That's all it was about when he said they made a bad business decision and can you disagree with with him based on the expectations of what the Mavs were supposed to get from Richardson.

A defensive stopper and secondary ball handler

Ask yourself has Richardson lived up those expectations when the trade was made?

I'm pretty sure at your job you would feel disrespected if your company felt they could do better with someone else and then the person they ended up replacing you with wasn't really better at the job than you.

Before, yes; but wouldn't have wanted him then either.

After, moot; he ain't comin'. But for laughs, what would be the over/under on DNPs before a blow-up with Carlisle? Surely, surely the Mavs have learned their lesson on trying to absorb poor-character guys and wring a little production out of them?

As for Powell, as much as his contributions and efforts were appreciated (glad he got paid), he was never starter-level talent on a contending team. He may have a role to play with the Mavericks going forward (and I hope he does), but he will have to change his game. Get a lot stronger to offer some defensive resistance down low, and either be able to hit a 12-footer consistently, or be an occasional 3-point threat. He's obviously smart enough and high-character enough, and will work to improve his game, but even still it will be a longshot.

Too bad the data doesn't support your narrative.

The data support the idea that Seth Curry is LeBron?

What data are you talking about?

Seems like he's heading for a PPV boxing match against one of the Paul brothers honestly.
