OK so we've seen this before
The Mavs get into the bonus the rest of the game
Let's hope they keep attacking the rim because many times when this happens they stop driving

I hope this isn't a one game thing because the media and KP made a out cry about it
This should be something moving forward that the Mavs consistently do

If anyone can't see this offense in the 4th qtr looks much better when Luka isn't taking every shot or dribbling for 20 seconds and KP is involved
KP makes much better decisions when passing the ball than our guys not named Luka
He can see over double teams and pass well

KP finally speaking up might have just saved this team come the 4th qtr
Otherwise, this might have gone on without a word being said
I know some fans felt like he should have shut his mouth and just played but this is why you need guys who can speak out at times if they think it helps the team.

KP made 3 threes, that were produced from the flow offense, and created by Luka while KP was standing behind the three point line. It wasn’t from called plays or post ups.

This... It was from doubles coming to Luka. The only one I saw that I want to see more of(edit:they were all good but this one almost never happens) is Luka backing down a defender and KP's guy came to help and Luka flipped it to him for an open one. The others came from the usual flow offense from what I saw.

He was also put in a PNR with Luka which led to a double team and he made a beautiful pass to DFS for the 3
So ball movement is apart of execution right?
Often the Mavs lacked ball movement in the 4th qtr's it's just stand around and watch Luka which was his complaint

Yep
People wanted him to shut and play after his comments last night.
I think that was the best thing to happen to this team was him finally speaking up

Luka swings the ball a lot on double teams. The ball just ends up back with him late in the clock. He's not perfect he does make bad plays closing the game but this isn't some drastic change KP was left wide open and made them, the same ones he misses a lot and we see complaints where he stands out on the perimeter too much.

Last night they didn't even look at him. He was completely ignored. If he doesn't speak up it would've been the same tonight

Brunson was pretty bad this game
Liked seeing DFS block and tough rebounding towards the end
THJ driving to the hoop is nice
Melli might have gotten more burn - he had those nice 3's there
Quite a game by KP - nice to see his playmaking abilities

That was a nice pass, and I agree that the ball movement looked better. They are all still learning to play together.

Dude did you hear Harper in the post game
He said they moved the ball much more and got KP touches
He said so often the ball would stick without movement.
I don't know how some of you can try and justify this team didn't look better or do anything different this 4th qtr compared too so many other poor execution 4th qtr's
This needs to be the recipe moving forward and Devin and Harper said get the man involved that's why he's hear right?

It seems like Luka has been told to try that option more often when it presents itself. It seems like he’s trying it more, and I doubted that it was a called play by Mosely in NY the other night.

I never said the ball didn't move better I said KP was the one left open because his man was the one who doubled and the rotating player for Bucks never rotated. And that the offense wasn't totally overhauled because of KP's comments. What I want to see more of from KP was his aggressive drive and dunk. I know he can hit 3's like tonight. He can also stand 30 feet from the rim all game and go 1-7 shooting from nearly the logo. I just want a more aggressive KP. Literally all I'm saying... not that he didn't play well or the ball didn't move better tonight.

Two favorite plays I saw from KP tonight I want to see more of both were drives. He drove for a huge dunk and he drove and kicked to DFS in the corner. I like aggressive KP.

The actions taken were still different, and led to a different, much better result than last night. To say that nothing changed is either idiotic or disingenuous at the least

I think we can all agree that KP might be a better passer than any of our other guys not named Luka
The stats say he only had one assist but dude was making some sweet passes tonight after he attacked and kicked out.
I trust him with the ball in his hands to make decisions which is why I think he needs to get more involved not just to shoot but to create for other players.

I wouldn't mind him being the guy who makes the inbounds passes to
Every time i see THJ or J.Rich as the inbound passer I cringe

I agree but I fault the guys like THJ and Brunson and Richardson just as much and KP too as I do the coach or Luka. Tonight the doubles came from KP's guy and he was left open. If the man rotates and KP swings to Richardson who is open he's going to shoot and that hasn't been a good thing. I want to see KP take the closeout off the dribble and create a better shot or get his own. I just don't think it's as simple as KP made comments now he got touches he was right. There is a lot of blame to go around when the team loses like they did in Houston. Everyone on the court, Luka and KP included, and all of the coaches.

Next game isn't until Sunday against Spurs. I wonder how long personal reasons can be listed as the reason for injury report(Terry).

They didn't change the offense. KP took his usual spot outside the three point line. Luka got the ball to the open man. We can't know if anything was said about making sure KP got more shots, unless they say something about it.
