This white guy just said "Luka and Kyrie absorb so much attention so that it is easy to score for THJ..."
THAT IS NOT TRUE. LUKA ABSORBS ATTENTION. KYRIE DOES NOT ABSORB ATTENTION.

THJ came up big! If this is how we can play through the injuries and the whistles, we are dangerous. Kyrie didn't even go scorched earth in the 4th quarter.
What an overall team win.

What a game. PJ Washington just cemented himself with this one.

Big games from PJ and THJ. Luka did as Luka does. Gafford with another solid game, too. Green played well in his limited minutes.

We won without one of our big two playing well. That bodes well for the future. Team so badly needs guys like Tim and Pj and Green to step up.
Still weird to see Lively struggling a bit. I really hope his family issues haven't finally caught up to him because he is such a good kid.

Nice to see the ?other guys? step up.
Washington, Gafford and *gulp* THJ were crucial. Its going to take a team effort to take this team down.
To win without Kyrie going off? on the road? in a pivotal game 2? Pretty sweet. Gritty, gutty team win.

This is also Kidd's best coaching game of the season. Team really coulda just mailed in the series and he got them PREPARED.

This is really good for his growth understanding what it takes to win. It's only going to get harder Mr. Doncic.

Have the Mavs played Giddey off the floor?
he definitely adds to their versatility but if i were the mavs i'd sag off him big time and let him shoot - maybe that's why he got benched?
How about 5 steals and 3 blocks between Luka and Kyrie in 41 minutes apiece?
these 2 stepping up on defense raises the ceiling of this team so much
we shot 48.6% from 3 - we'll need to keep up the good shooting to keep winning. Welcome back THJ! 17 big points and +15 in his time on the floor and a crucial big 3 towards the end to keep them at bay.

Yes!
But the problem with him is that he is not taking things seriously. He is constantly complaining to the refs. Constantly joking around. Taking three pointers left and right.

And his ref-complaining is even spreading onto others now. Like PJ. Now PJ is complaining to the refs too. DJJ as well. Even Lively who is so young. It's a great shame.

We are going too far my man...
Overall, hell of a win. Obviously we all hope to win 2 in Dallas, but who is going to show up for us? This is one of the better TEAM wins i've seen for the season.
I am confident, but with another EARLY game on Saturday, which Dallas team shows up?

Is it really that weird? He has no offensive skills outside of catching lobs. Gafford is pretty much the same, but his hands are slightly better. OKC defended very well. As much as I love both of our bigs, tonight reminded me of the days of Dampier and Diop. Good on defense, pretty atrocious on offense. Hopefully going forward we can get the alley-oop game going, because we can't count on PJ and THJ hitting all their shots again.

Sad that OKC might have the worst fan base. They are starting to make Knicks fans look intelligent.
Oh well, pandahank time!

It's wild to me that you could be an NBA fan, be super racist, and think its okay to yell racist things at players.
A) The league is literally great because of diversity and
B) You are at a game to have fun, right? If you want to be miserable, go to work.

Gafford has really started to play well
You can tell he's much more physical than Lively and he gets those grown man rebounds in traffic
If Lively gets back to playing under control on offense look out though.
Also Josh Green looks to have found a groove again

I did see some things from Lively that signal he will turn a corner here soon. He's been playing too timid, something I believe both Luka and Kyrie mentioned after game 1 for both he and Gafford. He's got to be more decisive on offense and he showed as much on a couple of really good passes. The bunnies will come, at least a few of them should start falling...I'd also love an alley oop SLAM on Chet's head. Don't dislike the guy, but the tone of something like that would go such a long way.
Lively's defense has also been impacted by some unfortunate calls. Not saying they haven't been fouls, but he's does seem to seem more timid when the whistle doesn't favor. The timing on shot contest and blocks was also a positive last night. He perfectly timed one whereas on a couple he was just a hair too slow. Lively picking up some slack from Gafford would almost cement this series in my book.

I agree on the ban hanmer.
PS. Its constant spamming.
PPS. Another big difference i seen last night is Luka being decisive. He wasn't hesitant. I didn't notice any slow dribble after the pnr watching how things pan out and the picking up his dribble to pump fake 3 times and turn it over or take a highly contested shot.
PPPS. Ban hammer plz.
Ps.

Fans were screaming all night in OKC and both Luka and Kyrie complained to security to address it. Our guys didn't get anyone kicked out, but security did tell them to chill out. It's the reason both Luka and Kyrie taunted the fans upon leaving (Luka did the arms and Kyrie did a sarcastic wave)
Luka said fans were calling his wife and children names.
Kyrie didn't say the nature of the taunts, but responded with "all races are god's children"
Some clips I saw had fans calling Luka's wife a "b--ch" and "dog face" and I heard the N-word more than once in clips from courtside.
Classless OKC fans.

Man do I feel good about about being a MFFL today. This really was the first damn game where the rest of the team really stood up.
Josh Green played so damn great it's like whyyy can't we see more of this. We need guys like him every game now. It's not a luxury anymore in the playoffs.
Seriously, if THJ has even one more game like this one, then I'd reconsider trading him in the offseason.
All that matters is you step up when it matters most.

We should also remember that the Thunder were the number 1 seed. Only the Celtics had a better record than them (with Den tied).
So we're right up there with one of the best teams in the league. That's all you can really ask for.

If a banged up Luka leads us to victory over the Thunder it will deflate any hype for SGA to win next season's MVP.
