(Here's the story. What is Riley thinking? I just don't get them paying Carter this much...Oh well, it makes our chances of getting Hardaway here that much better. Surely, the Bulls are not in the running like some reports suggest....)
The Miami Herald reports that Anthony Carter has agreed to a 3-year contract worth about $12 million. The move could all but close the door on Tim Hardaway's stint in Miami.
Elsewhere, it seems the Heat will lose Bruce Bowen and Dan Majerle as well. Bowen is deciding between at least two other teams, one being Chicago.
Majerle would prefer to end his career where it started: As a Phoenix Sun. The Suns are expected to offer Majerle the veteran's minimum of $1 million.
