07/25/2001 By Marc Stein / The Dallas Morning News The Mavericks' first season at American Airlines Center will start at home, with a visit from the Detroit Pistons on Oct. 30 – opening night of the 2001-02 NBA season. Dallas' complete schedule won't be released until Thursday, when all 29 teams reveal their 82-game lineups. The first Mavericks exhibition game at the new building is Oct. 12, when they play host to Boston." |
