I was disappointed by this movie. I am a huge fan of Jim Carrey but I thought they did not do a good job of using him at all. If you have seen the trailer on the TV you have seen it all.

I have several friends that highly recommend it, but haven't seen it myself.

I am sorry but we need to do something about this Ref situation. They are just too bad.

Well we can all chip in together and put a contract out on the refs.

Back to the original topic LRB and Smiles,, nothing personal MFF, but over the years i have learned not to bank on other people's opinions. If you try to compare that to movies like Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, The Mask, Liar Liar, of course it may seem lop-sided.

I refer everyone to my summer movie preview. I think I called Bruce Almighty right-all the funny moments are in the trailer.

RE: Bruce Almighty
Bruce Almighty...funny movie. It was sold out when I went to see it Friday night at Grapevine Mills...it was one of the few times to where the audience actually applauded the movie upon conclusion.
and no, they weren't applauding because the movie was finally over....

All I am saying is they showed too much on the trailer on TV. The movie didn't have a whole lot of funny scenes other than those.

RE: Bruce Almighty
In my opinion, it was a good movie.
Jim Carrey is pure genius regardless of the script..just let him loose and he will entertain

I am a huge fan of Jim carrey and I see all his movies first day. I just did not feel the director of the movie did not use Jim to his fullest.
