Pippen interested: Free agent forward Scottie Pippen has told the Chicago Sun Times he will put the Bulls on hold because he has to mull over offers from Dallas and the Spurs.

"I've got to look at San Antonio because they've got cap room, they are the defending champions, and they would give me a chance to play with a great big man," he said.

"With Dallas, any player has to listen to whatever (owner) Mark Cuban has to say because he is so pro-player. They have great talent, too. So I have to look at both teams real close."

Whatever happened to him saying that Dallas isn't a possibilty and it's not important for him to come and try to win a championship with us?

He see that MLE no one is signed to, so he's taking a closer look.

I think I would only seriously consider the LLE for Pippen. And that is only because of the way things have gone. He ain't coming here. SA and Chicago would both pay him more than we will (crossing fingers).

Ten years ago this would have been exciting. But now, it's just a shrug of the shoulders.

maybe the split the exception and give him part of it. Pippen certainly would be an upgrade to walt williams, and rigadon't..

Even that is risky because we waste a roster spot but I guess it's no worser than Rig taking a roster spot and not being effective at all. His leadership is needed i'm just not sure how players will play with him. Pippen i'm not worried about at all. I'm worried about guys remembering what he said to Fin or remebering him tripping Bradley on courti intentionally.

Pippen is not coming here. All he is doing is trying to get more money from someone. All we are is some sort of bargaining ploy.
