Default Doug Christie on 20/20
Doug Christie and his wife were on 20/20 last night. I didn't catch the entire interview. Doug talked about playing in the NBA while being married vs being single. Basically said he would party after games when he was single, but now that he's married he doesn't. He discussed much he loved his wife. They showed Mr/Mrs Christie riding around in a old pink cadalliac convertible (sorry, no car knowledge) and Mrs Christie was sitting right next to him. 20/20 mentioned how Mrs Chrisite would coach Doug during the games, and Doug stated it effected his play and had her stop. 20/20 stated one game they counted over 80 times where Doug held up his hand to say I love you to his wife. When Mrs Christie picks up her tickets before a game, there is always a love letter or poem attached to her tickets. However the best part of the interview, the last question that was asked, the interviewer asked Doug, "Doug, there are rumors around the league and in the general public that you are whipped. Is that true?" It was greatness. Christie gave a basic answer, I love my wife.. blah blah blah... Anyone else see it?

I actually saw some of that.....Christie's content with being in that kind of relationship with his wife, and if they're happy , then best wished to them.

It was mainly a Kings have more morals than Lakers thing. In which I agree.

But then again, If Christie ever thought about cheating on his wife, she'd probably kill him.

Yeah, worked wonders for Kobe's image didn't it.
If you know you're going to cheat, there is always a chance you're
going to get caught, and it's going to hurt a player that's gone out of his
way to have a 'nice' image more...as we've seen.
Got a case with an Australian cricketer over here at the moment, he's married, he's
had one previous sex scandal, he's also currently serving a suspension for
using banned substances...and basically this woman is saying they had an
affair...and because it's such a boys club i heard one of his coaches tell the "hairy backed" woman
to shut up. No denial, no, "Shane's made a mistake"....
I don't know what it's going to take to ruin this guys image!!!

I think I've strayed a bit..anyway...how about that Doug Christie [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I think Shane Warne is an idiot. He is an even bigger idiot if he is calling up a 45 year old mother of three for his kicks.

Did he do it? I don't think so. But it wouldn't surprise me if he did.
