Whoa evil lol. I knew there were some fans of rap here but I didn't expect people to like some of the less commercial artists. I saw that you posted Big Hawk earlier but I didn't know you were referring to the rapper lol. I love David Banner's new album. I didn't expect him to be a rapper/producer. His beats aren't bad at all.

I'm still watiing for the Ghetto Boys album and the Method Man album. Push backs are hell.

FFM, you're not the only person that likes that genre, I like quite a lot of hip hop..and some rap. I'm going to see Jurrasic 5 & The Roots next month
and i'm damn excited about it too!!


Love the Roots. Did you like the Cody Chesnut song that was on the Roots album? You are from Australia correct? Is Jurassic 5 big where you stay at? Is rap in general big?

The newly crowned GodFather of Missisippi, David Banner is absolutely great, and I am also looking forward to Tical 0: The Prequel being released, as I have been a big fan of Method Man's stuff for years... In my mind though, the BIG HAWK has become my favorite rap artist lately. I love the HAWK and Big Mo's deep, deep drawling voices (kind of like a deep south Warren G), and the lyrics are damned sharp... Great stuff...

Yeah I love the Cody song, it was kind of a hit over here, so i bought the album.
I do like the Roots album better than the Cody album though.
J5 aren't big, but they definitely have fans. They came out here and played the Big Day Out 2 years
ago, which is out biggest music festival...this time they're coming out for the Livid festival.
Rap is pretty big here. Artists Eminem, 50, Nelly, Snoop, Xzibit, Black Eyed Peas, Diddy, Jay-Z etc etc.
Missy too..which is good because Missy rules. OH and Outkast...that last album was huge here, Ms Jackson was #1 for weeks.

I'm not big into Rap like I once was. There was a point when that was ALL I listened to. Now I listen to more R&B than Rap. If I said Rap, I still like Jay Z (of course), Eminem, I liked 50's album.

On the R&B side all of it... Any group, I like all R&B.
