what matchups are you most looking forward to?
..yeah, an old topic revisited.
but, I'll go with Dirk vs KG
Dirk vs TD
I guess it's no secret which teams i'm looking forward to watching the mavs play.. the lakers, kings, spurs, and wolves. Anyone else looking forward to certain matchups whether it's an individual player or the mavs vs any certain team?
I'm also looking forward to see if the pistons can do anything to slow down the mavs offense. If they ARE truly an elite defensive team, they'll make adjustments and it'll show this year

what matchups are you most looking forward to?
82 Dallas VS. ________matchups (okay, okay less than that because of all the home2x away2xs but you know what Im saying)
Golden State vs LAL and DEN whether or not Nick is playing for them.
All the MIN/SAN games are going to be electric I think
Marbury/Marion/Stoudamire versus Kidd/Jefferson/K-Mart
I'll catch a few LAL games just because there is a lot of interest there. Will they fall apart or become and Uber-team? (I think closer to the first)

what matchups are you most looking forward to?
Of course all the Dirk matchups.
Dallas v. Minn (Just to shut up the comparisons before they really start)
(Dirk v. KG
Nash v. Cassell
Jamison v. Spree
Fin v. Fred Hoiberg)
GS v. Dallas (Nick v. Nash)
LA v. Utah (Karl going against Utah will be weird)
Bradley v. Ming (this is shawn's year. 10pts, 12rbs, 8blks for Mantis. 8/7/0 for Ming. A wee big wishful, but hope is why I watch)
Bradley v. Miller and Mourning v. anybody (to make Dallas glad we kept the mantis in the middle)
Dallas v. LA (the top two teams)

ha. ha. opened myself up for that one.
My hope: those are Shawn's stats for the first quarter of the first game.
my prediction, though: after that first quarter, with just 2 points and a rebound, Yao sits down. Nellie sees Francis and Griffen out on the court together, and his mouth waters for some small ball action. He replaces Shawn and Jamison with Best and Najera, and we lose the first game. Bradley goes into the doghouse for not complaining, and doesn't appear in the rest of the Houston games.
