ideas for the board..
I also think that all members that post should have their PM's on so that the mods can speak with them at any time instead of having to call people out in the forums...just a thought though.
plus, it'll allow people to grieve their differences via PM instead of doing so in the threads. just a thought |

Having PM's turned on is a good idea IMO. Of course not all new member know how to use PM's (or possible even some old members [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

1) moderated chat room debates:
Murphy v. TwoDeep - Does Don Nelson suck? Murphy, you've got two minutes. TwoDeep, 30 sec to reply. Sorry, TwoDeep, that's a personal attack. Murphy, a response? 2) some standard way to post box scores. because tabs turn into single spaces, it's just too hard to read tables. Surely there is some way to work around this. 3) get rid of member statuses, and don't make post counts so prominant. |

One suggestion is that the word association, counting and this or that threads be deleted every two months . We can start a new one every two months. This way we save some extra space and deleting the word association thread would not make any difference.

How post statuses are made prominant? It's just a game that doesn't make a poster to have privileges from the software or such a thing. Only for the personal avatars but it can be stoped and leave the donation option. Not a big deal to keep or dissapear it, though. Although it helps a forum to make some members to participate -not only in the post padding threads.
I agree on the tables' comment. In a board where it's very useful to use statistics, the software should permit to post arranged tables.
