Finley, McDonald's Collector's Cup
(MFF has sent word out that she must have one of these cups.)
DALLAS – Mavs All-Star Michael Finley and McDonald’s are teaming up to bring the Mavs spirit direct to the fans through a collectible cup available only at McDonald’s. On November 19th, McDonald’s and the Mavericks will unveil a Michael Finley collectible cup that will be available with the purchase of a Mavs Meal at McDonald’s beginning November 17th. Local McDonald’s owner/operators and Ronald McDonald will be in attendance to celebrate the announcement.
The Mavs Meal includes a McRib sandwich, Super Size fries along with a 32 ounce Super Size Sprite in the collectible Michael Finley/Mavericks cup (while supplies last).
Support for the promotional partnership includes, TV, radio and outdoor billboards. The television spot features the McRib Mavs Meal and Finley in action on the court, integrating McDonald’s new campaign theme “I’m Lovin’ It”. This will be one of the first commercials to incorporate the new “I’m Lovin’ It” themeline and story format.
“Michael is a big McDonald’s fan and we’re excited about featuring one of our favorite Mavericks players in our McRib promotion,” said Kevin Lilly, President of the McDonald’s North Texas Advertising Association.
In addition, the November 22nd Mavs vs. Nuggets game will be McDonald’s Night where fans will receive a coupon for a FREE Sprite in a Michael Finley collectible cup.

RE:Finley, McDonald's Collector's Cup
I hate McD's. *barf*
But I might have to suffer through a McRib to get one of these.

Bogey, I don't want the food either. Just hand over the cup and no one will get hurt is my way of thinking.

Of course of all the Mavs, Fortson would make the best spokesman for McDonald's for obvious reasons.

But those potatoes are fried.... I was thinking more along the lines of Wendy's where they have baked potatoes on the menu.

RE: Finley, McDonald's Collector's Cup
Dang it, I went there the other day and got a Mavs meal, and they didn't give me a cup. I asked the drive through girl about it, and she said she had no idea when they would have them...

A McRib, fries, and a drink. You have to supersize it though, to make it an official "Mavs Meal" though.

Who coordinated this promo? Anyone have an idea who to ask about when they'll be available?
