Ok I'll start..I'm currently a fulltime pre-med grad student. Did web/graphic design and programming for over five years before I realized I didn't want to work in that field the rest of my life (my major in college was creative advertising..which is why I've got a ton of classes to take now before I can even think about applying to med school). I'm also considering PT school and have worked as a physical therapy tech the last five months. Finally, I plan on getting personal trainer and cscs (certified strength and conditioning specialist) certs later this year just for fun and possibly part-time work.

i spent about 4 years in Sales after college. I was layed off in June of 01, and decided I would take the summer off. Traveled a bit, played golf, napped, and then started looking for work around the 1st of September. Eleven days later it was not a good time to be looking for a job. It is now February and I still have not found a position worth considering. I need a job soon as I am bored stiff.

Okay, I'll go next! I work in financial services - for my aunt & uncle's business. Most of what I do is on the management/administrative side of things. They're training me to run a new office-which we are "planning" to open May/June.
I was pre-med in college. Applied to med schools for 2 yrs - no bite. Went to grad school-endocrinology-@ VA Tech (Go Michael Vick!). Got sick, thought my life was going to be short, decided not spend it in research, dropped out of grad school. Got an offer from CA, here I am!

I am an accountant! No Really I am! I also speak semi-fluent chinese, (mandarin)after completing a degree in Asia-Pacific Studies.
I graduated about 5 1/2 years ago and have been working for a private firm ever since, I must admit, I have been pretty lucky. But so have they!!

I have a degree in marketing with an emphasis on entrepreneural studies. I went to work as a manager of a mass retailer (K-Mart) and I was just about to be promoted to district manager when I decided that I didn't want to be travelling 60 hours a week. So I opened a comic shop.

Realistically, I divide my team as a student aide for a private school and the other half is dedicated to the public library. It's not as bad as it sounds.

I don't know if Turbo's joking, but it works. All you have to do is borrow a quarter from 4 people at lunch and by a sandwich or something and you make $3 dollars a day. Call my pathetic if you must.

I designed and implemented the database that is behind NCHS's website! Last fall. I worked for a guy who was helping out the guy who had been contracted to redesign the site. --That's my disclaimer, because I'm not a fan of the look and feel of the site. I had no input in it!
But it helped get me a Fender '72 Custom Telecaster, among other things, so it's all good in the end.

There could be some improvement done, though I do like the Shockwave intro to it now.

Greenville is famous for Raytheon. Probably 50% of the families that move here do so so their parents can work there.
