Is anyone nervous yet?
I personally was nervous from the start of this series. First off, National media jinxed us. Then most of the members excluding me and fidel predicted a mavs win in this series. Now we have to have this win. I am very very nervous about this game.

RE: Is anyone nervous yet?
What's too be nervous about, Teams are averaging winning 1 out of every 70 series when they goo down 0-2. Teusday isn't important.

I'm always nervous. Been nervous since Wednesday night. And it won't go away until the playoffs are over.

Who is the most negative guy?
Here's my list:
TwoDeep
Captain Disaster
We could also use reverse psychology and have David start the gameday thread and give Nellie his props of having the testicular fortitude! (TwoDeep loves that cliche!) to play Najera so long.

Every game for the past 3 months has made me nervous.
Heavy sedatives have been necessary.

I'll be at the game. The Mavs have a winning record when I'm in Oakland and Sacramento.
The Mavs are winning this game.

RE: Is anyone nervous yet?
No one should be nervous or intense, right? I thought it was a win-win situation for the Mavs?
If we win, we advance.
If we lose, it should mean Nellie's head. We trade Walker and Finley to any takers. We resign Nash and Daniels. Sign Ostertag (or the like). Beg someone to take Najera and we'll be set for next season.

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
Depends on what happens today.
If we win, the series is tied, heading into Dallas and I'm carefree
If we lose, we're 0-2 with 2 must-win games at Dallas and 1 at Sacto. Then I'm nervous.

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
I'm real real real real nervous and sooooooooooooo worried. I'm afraid we'll lose tonight, lose this series. I haven't watched (on TV) a Mavs' game since the one that we lost Sac at Arco Mar. 11. I missed the inessential last regular season game in Houston. Just now, I found I wouldn't watch any Mavs' first round playoff game on TV because most of them are Rockets'. So, if we're out of round 1, I'll see Mavs next season. [img]i/expressions/brokenheart.gif[/img] As Chinese, I wish Yao best, but, if Rockets hadn't got in the playoffs, it might've been in another case.
DIE QUEENS!!! GO MAVS!!!!

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
No need imho for Mavs' fans to be nervous just yet. If Kings hold, it's what they were supposed to do. If the Mavs are able to steal Game 2, then they head to the AAC with all of the momentum in this series, with the Kings wondering if they can put two good games together in a row (something they haven't done since CWebb returned). Plus, can Nash and Finley really play much worse than they did in Game 1? Can DC even approach duplicating his performance from Game 2? My bet is NO on both counts, so someone else has to step up for the Kings to be successful. CWebb has had great difficulty putting together two good games in a row since his return, Miller has been a shell of his all-star form from the first 58 games (largely due to injury, imho). The only player for the Kings who really didn't perform well in Game 1 was Bibby from a shooting perspective. Peeler played much better than was expected, and I'm not really counting on another similar performance in Game 2 (although it does bode well that the Kings are at home...it has always been my contention that the scrubs play better at home than on the road, hence the advantage of having HCA in a playoff series).

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
Not yet, but if Mavs lose tonight; they must win both of their home games to tie up the series at 2. I dont want it to be playing from behind all series like the Stars were, that made me nervous....

I'm nervous. I think the Mavs needed one of the first two to make the series competitive.
Now I think they need one out of one.

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
Yes, admittedly I will state that I am infact nervous about tonight. We desparately need to grab this win in sacramento before going back home, for it would do wonders to our chances of taking a step forward in the process of defeating the kings.

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
I am cautiously optimistic...
But I'm completely nervous. The series is never over until someone gets 4 wins, but I hate to think that he we give them a headstart of two games. Tonight is big.

RE:Is anyone nervous yet?
The greatness of the playoffs is how the tension/pressure is ratcheted up with each game. If Game 1 made you nervous, then Game 2 should make a little more nervous and so on.
Having said that, I personally won't really start feeling nervous until the eventual elimination game (which I hope the Mavs never get to).
