Stumbled across this over at ESPN. Pretty high praise if you ask me.
Vince(Tulsa): Fred,who has the best shot at taking the Lakers to at least 6 in the NBA Finals?The Nets,Bucks,or Celtics? Fred Carter: (3:50 PM ET ) If the Lakers beat Dallas nobody has a chance. I think Dallas is the only team that can beat the Lakers.

I for one agree with Carter. It is nice to see an east coast media rep dishing out praise for the Mavs.

This season, from just watching NBA2NITE, Fred Carter has really been giving the Mavs praise all along.
He REALLY liked the trade and has commented about us having the best chance of beating the Lakers in the playoffs.

Marcus Johnson, from Fox, has been stating for a WHILE now that he thinks the Mavs will win the title. I give him MAJOR props, since they're right in the heart of Laker land.
I love the ESPN NBA2Night crew. They know their stuff for the most part. I HATE INSIDE THE NBA. They are more concerned with being funny than talking hoops.

nba 2night is good, but i love the humor of inside the nba. they crack me up. they don't have that much time to talk hoops at halftime, so they go with humor.

charles barkley sticks his foot in his mouth from time to time..but he is perhaps one of the funniest athletes of all time. he is truly gifted from that stand point

what exactly is when the only thing you have to say in your post is that someone else was post padding.
i'm sorry..i posted something and then thought of something else to add after i had posted. and why would i need to pad posts? am i trying to win something? am i trying to move into the #1 spot? |
