Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Walker had three turnovers in a row at one stretch and sacremento win. That sums up our season. Thanks Nellie for keeping walker even after repeated turnovers.
Season over and I am hopeful mark cuban will take the right actions.

Unfortunately, Nash was just as bad or worse in the 4th.

Well at least Nash contributed a good deal of positive plays as well. Still too many screwups by too many Mavs. But I was highly dissappointed that Walker stayed in to play in the 4th.

RE:Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Thanks Walker for giving it your all this season playing on a team where you just did not Fit in the grand scheme of things.....But you did your best to adapt to the situation....
Now it's time for you to head to a new team where your one-on-one skills would be better utilized.....I actually thought you did a pretty solid job masquerading as a "roleplayer" on this team.... Kudos.
Despite what others here say, I'm proud to have been a fan (notice the past tense) of you through the lean years of the Celtics and their successful playoff years all the way to this point with Dallas.....But now the time has come that I shall part with you as my favorite player. I have found a team that is exciting to watch with a great future ahead of itself. I have become a fan of Dirk, Nash, Marquis, and Howard and frankly, I don't have any more room for you....
Thanks for the memories, Antoine.
Thank you and Good Luck.

You are absolutely right but in a close game with less than 5 minutes left three consecutive really ruined his great effort for first three quarters. Mavs just did not have anyone who can make a big play in the 4th. The only big play I can think of is put back by Dirk of Walker's miss.

RE:Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
I blame Nellie for calling a play that could only end in a jump shot instead of calling a play to get to the rack. Your team is perfect from the line, why not call a play that allows your best player to get to the line?
Bad X's and O's on Nellie's part.

RE: Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Walker and Nash combined to shoot 2-11 and had 3 turnovers each in the 4th quarter.

Hey MFF, do you have anything "good" to say about Walker now that he is pretty much on his way out of dallas? I said my piece(read my post that dude likes....lol). How about yours?

RE: Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
AW's turnovers were conjured!
He DID not travel!
That was a 2 second call!
AW is probably gone but his plus/minus was +27 through 3 quarters.....and I'm not counting the 4th because that was just made up and controlled by the refs!

I thought Walker played a pretty damn good game for 3 quarters. It's a shame that he had those turnovers and missed layups at a time we needed baskets. Incidently, I was trying to point out that Nash was shitty in the 4th quarter as well as Walker even though they had brought their games earlier.
I wish Walker well, but he just doesn't fit here in Dallas and must go. It's not just him but Nellie wanting him to be something he's not for this team. Point forward failed and he's certainly not a center.

Yeah but you have to admit....he did a pretty damn good job at the "position" all things considering. Heck...If he played Center in the EAST, he might be an allstar again!

He's gone.
The Mavs do not need him and some team will want the cap relief.
Maybe he won't get traded and he just walks....

RE: Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Walker played pretty well, for him. He rebounded well, and his defense wasn't nearly as bad as usual, but he still missed shots that you just can't miss. His turnovers I can live with, especially since one of them wasn't. B-Bye Walker.
I'm really not sure why people say he wasn't a good fit for Dallas, as if to say that somewhere else he would be a better fit. If he can't fit in with a team that already has a lot of good scorers, then he just can't fit in, period. The reason he can't fit in is because of his head, which doesn't change no matter what team he's with.

It's just perception. He's not a good fit from the teams standpoint because that's not what the team needs. If AW was say 7 years younger and paid about 13 million dollars less this would be A GREAT place for him to play and learn how to play on a grea team.
But that's not the case. He is what he is and that resulted in part of him playing on a VERY BAD TEAM with no veterans and poor coaching guidance. He has bad bad bad habits that creep in and creep out......but he is still pretty talented and was a "better fit" on the Celtics where he got traded from.
I would argue if he had more time on this team he would be able to contribute on a role players level but he's being paid too much so it's not really worth it.
If the Mavs can find a way to get a solid defender for him it would be best for the team.

RE:Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Forgot just HOW much we gave up for walker.
Quote:
That was just a lousy trade, and everyone here knows it. Antoine averaged 14 and 8 this year, while Raef's career averages are 12 and 7... only Raef gets his production in fewer minutes, shooting a much higher percentage, and he'll block some shots. And on top of that, the Mavs also gave up Welsch, a first round pick, and Mills' expiring contract. What was the point, again?

RE:Thanks Walker and Nellie for screwing in the 4th
Walker did have a great 1st 3 quarters. But playing 3 good quarters and choking when it counts translates into a pretty bad game in my eyes. And when I say choke, I don't mean miss a shot like Dirk did. When I say choke, I mean turn the ball over 3 times, take shots that they shouldn't be taking, miss them, etc. Both Walker and Nash had pretty bad games yesterday. I wish Nash could have stayed on track with his 1st quarter performance...

What one-on-one skills? Antoine Walker has about as much one-one-one skill as a bag full of rocks. That's where he's failed the most this year. He's tried to create for himself way too much this year, and that's why his fg% was so low.
BTW, could somebody PM me what shaggy said to get him banned? Thanks. I'm glad he finally got what he's been deserving for weeks now.
