What you do this with ORL
Fin and Walker for Tracy and Hill.
Orlando gets two good players and they get rid of Hill and a disgruntled McGrady.
Dallas gets McGrady. Nash, McGRady and Dirk will be the new big three!

RE:Would you do this with ORL?
No ...its too much to take a contract as big as Hill's and not get anything from them. We can do something way more productive than this with the pieces we have

I don't see why not. Basically the question is, would you trade Finley for McGrady.
Heck yes.

You've got to make the deal better for Orlando, or they won't even consider it. Weisbrod just took over for a GM whose moves have been questioned (Gabriel). Do you really think he'll jettison a Top 5 player for Finley and Walker?
I think not.

I defy you to show me how we can get a better deal than Tracy McGrady in exchange for Finley and Walker.

Talentwise, you can't not do this if it's an option. It doesn't give the Mavs what they need most, but still, you just don't say no to this.

Finley/Jamison/Bradley for Hill/McGrady works and is more attractive for Orlando since they'd be giving away a top 5 player.

RE:Would you do this with ORL?
I just dont like the fact that we would be bringing in another offensive player as well as someone taking 13,280,000 dollars off of our cap and not being able to contribute.
I think it should be apparent by now that you cant just throw any talent in with talent and have it unfold smoothly. I just dont think the Chemistry would be great with TMac here considering the fact he also has to have the ball in his hands to be productive.
Where we stand right now, I believe a better trade would be to keep the big three together and trade walker and filler for some hardnosed, stingy defensive players that can rough it out down low and on the perimeter. I believe we are exactly that far away from a title and thus feel that would be the best trade scenario for us to accomplish.
