this is an insightful professor. He has his ear to the Muslim world, and certainly doesn't appear radical in any way. Major stretch to liken him to al-jazeera. This guy wants the US to win the battle against radical islam.

Yea bush should have just let sadaam keep killing 'em. then they wouldn't have been so radicalized. If the muslims want wwwIII then they may get it, they won't like it, but if they think they can blatantly continue to attack us interests and we won't get fed up with it, think again.
If bush had wanted to level afghanistan no one would have blinked an eye. If another massive attack happens, don't think we won't turn toward the "sunni triangle as the culprit. All if would take would be for one REALLY militant president to come in. The leftists somehow think that bush is some sort of radical warmonger but they are full of it and just playing politics. Bush has been extremely measured, careful (maybe too careful) and deliberate. Going to congress to get authorization, going to the UN to get concurrance. Bin Laden was hoping that: a. It would be another democrat in there who would talk about a bunch of crap, throw cruise missiles and then quit. b. Somone who WOULD drop the big one and get wwwIII started in earnest. b might happen yet.
