Default Jusr heard on espn that Mavs are working with LA and Warriors -3 team deal

I just heard mavs discussing a potential 3 team deal involving sign and trade of Dampier to Lakers. I was trying to figure the pieces that would be required for such a deal to happen but could not come up with one. Whats in it for GSW?

Nothing...it wont happen...it is way too complicated

GS would probably loose NVE and gain expiring contracts but my money has shaq staying in LA or going to Sac town

Something like Howard, Dampier, Stackhouse & Walker to L.A., Shaq to Dallas, Laettner & Bradley to Golden State would probably work. There's a lot of variables. More contracts if NVE or Esch is included (or both). Depends on the amount of Dampier's contract, etc.

if something like that went down, then I'd want to get Marion from the Suns in a Nash S&T (unlikely).
But that would be a great lineup for Dallas.
If Nash runs free, and then Dallas trades all those players for Dirk, we'd be pretty thin, but still very good.

it was more speculation on stein's part than anything solid.
