Default Had hoped that muslims would be more intelligent

I had hoped that american muslims would be much more intelligent than this. I had hoped they would see that ending the terrorism in their culture is the only way to keep them from being completely ostracized in this country and the world. But unfortunately they seem more muslim than american. Again, another islamic attack on the US will NOT be a good thing for their community and it is a shame that they will not seize the opportunity to change their destiny, like their brethren in Iraq are doing with their struggles.

American Muslim Leaders Rally Community
By RACHEL ZOLL
ASSOCIATED PRESS

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - American Muslim leaders ended their largest annual meeting with a rousing plea to thousands of community members that they vote in the presidential election.

Muslims urgently want to register their political presence in this country as a step toward ending what many believe are excesses in the war on terror.

"We have to demand justice," said Mahdi Bray, head of the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, as the convention wound down Sunday night. "We have to stand up to this government and say, `What you're doing is wrong.'"

That was nice Dude. At least you've given them fair and early warning as to what they can expect if they vote for Kerry. Not many hawks would do that. You should be commended.

Muslim leaders are idiots. The best way to overcome ostracization for supporting terrorism is to become hard asses on opposing it. Had the stupid Palestinians done this they would have their freedom long ago. Unfortunately it seems most American Muslim leaders feel more loyalty to terrorists who kill innocents just because they profess to be Muslims than to their fellow American citizens. That is just sad and pathetic.

yeah, all those "muslim leaders are idiots" for having the gall to demand that their civil rights be respected! Who do they think they are anyway, citizens?

That was of course the issue that they stressed in who their support would go.

Who would have thoght that "loyalty to terrorists" was expressed by a simple demand of one's legal rights?

Hang on, I think I've come up with a brilliant idea! It will take care of those fussy muslims and spike a huge boost into the economy.

Here me out. Together we form the new " Turban Hunters Society". We decide when the season begins and where it will take place.

Imagine the revenue! First, there's the membership fees and licence fees. And use a time card system as a pay as you stay fee. We will need a big parcel of land.........well, not too big. We don't want to be there all day. Kind of a get in and get out event. Imagine the jobs it would create. For starters, we would hire employees to round up these muslims. Probably no easy task, so the wages would have to be slightly above minimum wage. It would mean record guns and ammo sales. Not to mention the huge increase in military clothing sales......we know how you boys like to dress up like soldiers. Beer sales would go through the roof!!!!! But you couldn't bring any beverages, you would have to buy them from the newly constructed, government funded, state of the art clubhouse! Of course there will be a significant cover charge and drink minimum. We could work that out later.

But I guess that would mean turban retail sales could plummet...............oh well, that would be part of the grand scheme anywho.
