Dallas/Charlotte Trade Idea?
Charlotte trades:
PG Brevin Knight (8.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 9.3 apg in 29.7 minutes) C Jahidi White (2.7 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.1 apg in 7.2 minutes) Charlotte receives: SG Jerry Stackhouse (14.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 29.7 minutes) Change in team outlook: +3.5 ppg, -1.0 rpg, and -7.1 apg. Dallas trades: SG Jerry Stackhouse (14.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 29.7 minutes) Dallas receives: PG Brevin Knight (8.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 9.3 apg in 29.7 minutes) C Jahidi White (2.7 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.1 apg in 7.2 minutes) Change in team outlook: -3.5 ppg, +1.0 rpg, and +7.1 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Charlotte still has Jason Hart to run the Point Guard and they now have an offensive option to go with Emeka Okafor. Not to mention a salary of 22 million this year, loads of money to throw at a potential free agent in the offseason. A free agent might actually come to Charlotte if the teams LOOKS like its trying to make something of themselves. Get a marquee free agent, Stackhouse, and Okafor and now you got a decent team in the east. Dallas does it to get an actual PG that can actually run a team. Knight is currently 2nd in the league in assists per game with nonames in charlotte. He also Ranks #1 in the NBA in Assists Per Turnover(4.76). So he actually plays under control as well.White is a throw in, and his contract ends this summer. They would have to cut Armstrong to get the roster down to 15 players, but no tears there. Thoughts?

You have to do it. Stackhouse is just a luxury on this team solid point guard play however isn't. Daniels and Terry can adequately fill the role of sixth men. As for White we could always use an extra banger.
