Jazz: Utah, Portland talking draft swap

The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that the Jazz and Trail Blazers are involved in "intense discussions" that would see them swap lottery picks and enable the Jazz to get Illinois' Deron Williams, the point guard they covet. Utah would send the No. 6 overall pick and another later selection—perhaps the No. 27 or No. 34 overall, or both—in exchange for the third pick. Utah would then get Williams and Portland would likely select high school star Gerald Green or Arizona center Channing Frye.

According to BSPNRadio, this deal is done and it is for the 6th and 27th pick.

Bucks: Ford cleared for full activity

Bucks point guard T.J. Ford, who hasn't played since undergoing cervical spine surgery in May 2004, has been cleared to resume full-contact basketball activity and is expected to resume a normal basketball career going forward, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Hornets: Magloire on the block?

The New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that the Hornets and Raptors are discussing a trade that would send former All Star center Jamaal Magloire to Toronto in exchange for the Raptors' No. 7 and No. 16 picks in Tuesday's draft. Magloire is a Toronto native and is only 27 years old. The deal would give New Orleans three picks in the top 16 selections.

This made me smile.

I hold her close until she's gone. I'll never know what she was running from. I'll cash her check in the morning.
