RE:Windmill Signatures
If you get bored I'd love a sig. The green in your sig is a real nice color- I really have no preference to what picture you put in it, anything science-fictioney is a good theme.
probably have gotten some pictures from this site sorry if i'm pirating.
Pics
I have tons more aurora pics. If you need more i'll post. thx in advance

You should use a matt jones highlight. He has a bunch of them. One suggestion would be his preseason catch or you may want one from his arkansas days.

Eh - I'm disgusted by Arkansas football. I don't need a daily reminder!!! It is cool to have the best freshman TB in the nation, though. I'm thinking about evengaline lilly...yeah...walking an ocelot. That'd be tight.

RE: Windmill Signatures
Windmill, whenever the rush ends, if you still have time, I'd like one too.
Something small, with my apple (in blue), username, and whatever generic mavs stuff you have lying around.
Color scheme: blue and silver, black trim
No dirk, no players.

Windmill, all I can say is WOW. That's even cooler than what I had as my highest expectation. The color is great, the old man smoking is perfect, the 'grandpa's grandkids' is perfect. I love it, thanks a ton.

Darren McFadden. Recognize. 8 yards a carry playing for a team with NO passing game. NONE. Zero. ZILCH (That means that there are, on most possessions, 8-9 defenders in the box). If Arkansas could pass for even 150 yards a game his numbers would be better, but we can't...so he has to break, on average, 2 tackles per carry.
Charles is good, though. Nothing about his game amazes me, though. He actually reminds me of our other stud freshmen RB, Felix Jones. Just prototypical, shifty guys. McFadden is much more like Peterson. 6'2", 4.30 forty, and powerful as hell.
Check this out.

RE: Windmill Signatures
He's up there, though. Sutton up at Northwestern is having a good year, but I can't see him being an NFL guy...seems too small. I'm sure there are some Big 10/ACC guys that are having good years, as well.
But to put up the numbers McFadden has put up playing against USC, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn...is pretty impressive.
88 yards against USC (8th against the run), 95 against Bama (10th), 190 against Georgia (were 10/11. now 21st), and 108 versus Auburn (29).
He might not be the best, but I haven't seen better. And that, sniff sniff, is the only thing that keeps me going to the games, even if my tickets are only a $1.

I know that you are talking about the Arkansas guy but AD doesnt run close to a 4.3. He runs a low 4.4. If the guy you were talking about really runs a 4.30 he is a freak. I just dont see him as being faster than AD or VY.

RE:Windmill Signatures
The link isnt working but I did see some of his highlights and he is great. I dont view running backs like everyone else does though as far as who I think is great. I thought that Bush going to the heisman ceremony last year was an effing joke. I dont care how spectacular your runs are, if you rush for 900 yards you are not a heisman candidate. I thought Benson should have gone because UT also saw 8 man boxes last year and he still had a hell of a year. Charles is as big as warrick dunn. I dont know if i think he will work in the pros either. I wasnt sure he would work in college. BTW about the heisman this year, I dont think he should win it or even necesarrily go to New York but I saw that people are saying Hodges had to beat UT to have a shot at the heisman. That is stupid. I think he had to play well and he played pretty well at least statistically. Again though, AD does not run a 4.3. Some fast people that are slower than a 4.30. Both Vick brothers, VY, DJ, AD, Matt Jones, Roy Williams the receiver, Charles, there are a bunch more. People dont realize just how fast that is. Even if Arkansas lists the guy at a 4.3 that doesnt mean he runs one.

Reggie Bush's value or the his dynamics as a player is not seen in his stats, if you've seen him play, you'll appreciate the type of talent he is. To me, he is one of those once in an era type guys...

RE:Windmill Signatures
I agree that bush was the best 900 yard running back in the country last year but Vince Young outrushed him. I dont give a damn what intangables you have if you rush for 900 yards you are not one of the 5 running backs in the ncaa much less players. He had no business even being in the same sentence as heisman last year. This year he deserves to be in the discussion and i dont have a problem with him being ranked number 1 so far though i would give it to vince. Bush is more entertaining. I think he could do alot more with more carries but he doesnt get them so he shouldnt be considered for heisman based on what he could do. I honestly think Lendale is better. Pretty yards arent as valuable as power yards and lendale gets more power yards. Bush does run inside too. Ive watched too many of their games to think he is just an outside runner. I agree that he is better than his stats or he would have no business being in the discussion this year. I happen to think VY has more value over his stats than Bush does.
Bush is worth more than his stats becuase you have to plan your D around covering him. VY also has to be accounted for which is why that read play is so successful. Not to mention the necessity of using a spy on him. I think bush is a star and he is great but he is not this once in a lifetime guy or Possibly one of the best college football players ever as some analysts say. He is very arguably not the best running back on his own team. I still think he is great and incredibly entertaining but he didnt deserve to be anywhere near NY during the heisman ceremony last year. I honestly thought more people would say I was wrong about the other peoples 40 times specifically the Vicks.

RE:Windmill Signatures
wow, the threadjacking is underway. might as well jump on in....
deangelo williams. u of memphis is on their 4th, yes, FOURTH, quarterback. two broken legs, one 5'10" 180 lb. true freshman and now a wide receiver who hasn't played qb since his freshman year. 8 or sometimes even 9 in the box every down, yet deangelo cranks out 200 yard games almost every week. yes, he's not playing alabama or texas every saturday, but he's projected at or near 2000 yards by the end of the season after 1800+ last year and will finish his college career in the top 5 all time ncaa rushers after sliding past lt and herschel this weekend.
i know he won't win it. doesn't play for a big enough program. i just hope he gets invited to ny. if he can somehow have a big game against the vols on 11/12, then i think he puts his name in the top 3 or 4. that's gonna be tough with their qb situation and tennessee's defense.

Maybe your forgetting the 500+ yards recieving including 7 TDs. He was also one of the top kickoff/punt returners in the country, returning 2 for TDs. He even threw for a TD. Bush had more all-pupose yards and touchdowns than Adrian Peterson did and Peterson ended second in Heisman voting, Bush was fifth.

RE:Windmill Signatures
All purpose yards are incredibly overrated. It scews the numbers far too much in the direction of punt and kick returners. You are pretty much guaranteed 20+ yards per KR and 9+ for PR just for being the return guy. Yards from scrimmage are a much better barometer of how much a running back has contributed. He had about 1400 yards from scrimmage. A decent total but not heisman worthy. Benson without looking im gonna guess had over 2000. Peterson had 1800 or so rushing but not much receiving. Ive known AD since 7th grade and honestly the guy is an ass so Im not the right person to judge him but I didnt think he should have been as high as he was. Bush was a good pr but not enough to make up the difference between him and the others as a running back.

Windmill, I have admired your work for quite some time now (I have an account at dallasbasketball.com), and I think you are absolutely amazing! I would love it if you could design a signature for me.
Color scheme: pink and green are my fav. colors so that would be cool
Images: any image(s) of Raef (preferably from his Mav days or Kansas days)
Phrases: just my moniker and possibly MFFL? Whatever you think looks good.
You are AWESOME!

and tennessee, ole miss, tulsa, utep, and southern miss. (they don't play smu, rice or tulane this year). actually their schedule strength (as of right now) is better than texas tech (big suprise ), and cal, and is in the same neighborhood as florida state and georgia.
he's definitely the best non-bcs player in the country and since a non-bcs player will probably never win the heisman again, he'll probably have to settle for that.
